    I'm wearing shoes and so are my bridesmaids, but that's mostly because we love dressing up and wearing heels even when its not really the most practical thing to do.

    Blanca told me there were now two wedding coordinators... well that's how I read it anyways. She said it was Miss Cecilia Orteg and Miss Araceli Tovar. I emailed them on Monday and haven't heard back from either of them yet. Hopefully I hear back soon. Blanca asked me to fill out a form with everything we decided and pick my flowers and so on but she asked me to use the catalogue and I have two different versions of it so I've asked for them to send me the one they will be using. Hopefully I hear back soon.

    Kbodchill - When did Blanca email you back? She emailed me yesterday (January 16, 2011) saying she was no longer working at the Grand Sirenis and that there would be new wedding coordinators taking over.

    What a great idea! Thanks for sharing. I get my dress hemmed this week and had never thought of asking to keep the extra fabric.

    Melaina - I know a bride who did their dinner and dancing at the Mexican restaurant and had a dj and were very happy with it. I was also worried about it feeling a little big but she said it worked out well. I know the Blanca also quoted you $650 for the dj and that is what she quoted me recently but in one of her previous emails she said that its only $350 pesos an hour for the dj if you are having a three course meal, so something to ask her if you are having the three course dinner. My travel agent said that my package comes with a three course dinner so I am not sure why Blanca keeps quoting me $650.

    Melaina - What is the cost for renting the restaurant? Blanca failed to mention that to me in her emails, althought I stopped emailing her a while ago as I got frustrated trying to get answers to my questions. Also, what is the cost for the mariachi band? I didn't even know that was an option. Blanca quoted two prices for the dj, one email she said $350 pesos per hour and in another she said $650 per hour. Any info you have would be a huge help... we are getting married February 22, 2011 and its coming up quickly!

    Did the wedding coordinator at the Grand Sirenis change? I was dealing with Tania and now someone else emailed me and now no one has responded in over a week and a half.

    Hi ThatGirl913, Did the resort get back to you with prices? I am getting married there in February 2011 but really don't have much info on the actual pricing.
