Mrs Creely....You look amazing in your pics, everything looks perfect....hope your enjoying you AHR xx Well girls am really excited about going but we seem to have had bad news after bad news.....firstly Thursday morning Richards Best Man called & told us his dad had died!! 56 years old heart attack!!....He is still going to come to Mexico as funeral will be after but Richard has known him since they were 6 years old so very upset. Then same afternoon Richards Dad turns up unexpectadly to tell us that Richards aunt has passed away!! She has been battling cancer for 8 months so we knew it wouldn't be long but two in the same day....Richard was in bits!! Then last night he was on the way to work in the car guy pulls out in front Richard smacks straight into him, our brand new 6 month old car is a right off!!!! Been on the phone sorting out insurance courtesy car etc all day!! Just can't wait to go now. Just really feel for Richard, this is supposed to be a really happy time in our lives & we should be both getting all excited & he is trying to be happy but I can see he is really sad. Sorry to be putting a downer on here girls

Hi Ladies....wow thanks for all that information on the actiivites!! Any previous brides (Sunnyee) help....lol....I have always been staying in Tulum for our holiday with the Gazebo booked however we had an email today to say that if we stay in the Akumal instead (keeping Tulum wedding location) all of our party can get a free upgrade to the Golden Club Junior Suites so now don't know what to do???? Is there much difference in rooms does anyone know & also what do you get in the upgrade?? Any help would be much appreciated

Welcome to the site Carrie as the other girls have said it is a godsend!! No one understands the planning of a wedding better than fellows brides & we've all had plenty of ups & downs along the way....lol Well girls my hen night was fantastic....had such a brilliant time. We started off in a couple of bars in Islington & had something to eat at the Living rooms then they had booked two booths at Tiger Tiger in Haymarket where we had a constant supply of cocktails....I danced my socks off!! Then went back to the Hilton hotel where a couple of my friends were staying then when it was time to go home they had booked a 'mini bus' to take us home....well when it arrived it was a big black mercedes van which I thought was a bit posh....got inside & it was like a nightclub with loud music, champagne the lot....was wicked & we danced all the way home, the driver got lost as well but we didn't care as just carried on dancing....lol got home at 5am!!!! Was such a good night, suffered a bit yesterday but all worth it!!!! I will post some pics when am at home tonight but a few have appeared on facebook!! I wonder how our Nicy is doing....can't wait to hear all about her wedding!! Need to get my arse in gear this week, no eating at all I think....lol & I want to try & pack most of our things this weekend!!!!....eeek soooo excited!!!!

I felt a lot not ready last week so I wrote out a big long list of things to do, even how many knickers & everything for the kids that I need to take....took bloody hours to write the list....lol....but felt much better after doing it & have been feeling a little kick of satisfaction this week everytime I cross something through!! This time tomorow girls I will know where I am going on my hen!! I am so excited....have to be ready for 5?? Can't wait!! Went to bluewater today & got my hair extensions, went for the clip in ones as real ones would be like rats tails by the wedding after a week in the pool but they cut them to the shape of your head & sew on the clips, they are still real hair & then am going to go back tomorow & they are going to put them all in & style them....saves me doing my hair for the hen night!! result!!

According to some reviews on trip advisor it is however Gemma 'Babyshaws' has just come back & has told me that it is still being built? so slightly confused??

As for the MIL situation as you know I am slightly luckier in the fact that 'she' is not coming....really feel for you on that front honey!! I'm sure you can lose her in the resort anyway & only have to see her on the day, just don't let her spoil your special time xx Does Dan know how you feel? Oh my god how amazing is this......back in '94 when me & Richard first got together one of our songs was Crazy for You by Let Loose.....well last night I got an email from Richie the lead singer in the band wishing me & Richard all the best for our wedding day!!!!!!!!!!!! Our friend Malene had contacted them & told them how much we love the song & he sent us the email!!!! How cool is that!!!! I emailed him back thanking him for his message & put at the end if he fancies coming to Mexico & singing it live for us he would be more than welcome!!!!....lol!!

Michelle so glad your hen weekend went well....your MIL is definitely a freak.....lol....& I love that word!!!! Good on your mum....last one standing!!....hahaha How lovely of your hens to organise your memory book, lovely idea & no wonder you got emotional xx We had our pre Mexico bbq yesterday & it was brilliant....everyone came & after a few...uuuhhhmm....bottles...crates...truck loads of drink our party are now definitely familiar with each other....lol!! It was really good as a lot of our friends had never met my cousins or aunts & some even my mum & dad so now the ice is definitely broken for Mexico....& Michelle I think our mums would get on like a house on fire as my mum was still doing the Lambada gone midnight!!!! (BBQ started at 1!!) I started packing on Friday.....one suitcase completely done & closed with all the wedding bits in....feels really surreal at the minute, been planning for so long that now its so close feels almost not real. Picked up all the tickets & they are like little books like guide books on Mexico.....never seen like it before.

Hi Girls.....just wanted to say we booked Tulum as right from the start I wanted to get married in the Gazebo, I even contacted the resort before I booked the holiday to confirm I could have the venue I wanted. However 2 months ago I get an email from Jasmin at Tulum to say that as of May 2011 all First Choice bookings would be now allocated in Akumal section....I got straight on the phone as that isn't what I booked....long story short....stick to your guns if you dead set on where you want to stay, I did & now have confirmation that all of our party (51 people) will be staying in Tulum, I don't think any part is any better than the other, they all look beautiful but if its what you booked & what you want then you have to let them know. Oh & guess what?? OUR TICKETS CAME TODAY......eeeeek so excited!!
