  1. Well played DiamondGirl!! Probably not a bad idea for non-police officers who travel a lot for work etc. I always hear horror stories of wedding rings stolen etc :( Wouldn't be quite as painful if it was a CZ!
Definitely! I also purchased a 2.5ct CZ solitaire to go with my fagaze band for when my husband and I go on vacation. Just the thought of possibly losing my real set or having it stolen scares me. Therefore I travel worry free and happily with my beautiful fagaze CZ bling! LOL
  2. Glad to hear. Isn't it crazy how once you're there and in the zone, you say to yourself....Let's do more poses! LOL you get tons of ideas all of a sudden. That sounds like a good idea. I'm sure it'll be tough for him to choose. LOL You're supposed to feel sexy and I'm glad you did. I'm sure you came through the camera perfectly :) Can't wait to see some teasers.

I got airbrushed the night before, had my nails and toes done, got my makeup done, curled my hair and put in my extensions.  I felt so sexy!!  I hope it came through the camera that way too hehe.

  3. I made sure I let the photographer know. It was important to me to see his expressions. It makes it so much more rewarding for a job well done. LOL I figured it would be a nice reminder of the sexy girl who would become his wife :)

I didn't want him to share it, but me knowing him as well as I do, I knew he would. It was his best friend, who's like my brother and his brother. So I was fine with it. Heck, I was very pround of my photos. LOL

  4. You sound like you're well prepared. That'll help you get what you expect out of the shoot. Have to get your money's worth. LOL You're going to be a bit nervous, but have fun with it. Also bring an Ipod with some of your favorite music, it'll help ease your mind and get you in tune with the shoot. Can't wait to see some teasers!!

Thanks for the advice and encouragement.  I have lots of photos that I am bringing as examples of what I like.  I hope that helps.  Also bringing my sis.  Already showed her all my cute sexy outfits yesterday.  I am actually really excited.  I am getting airbrushed and getting my nails and toes done tomorrow.  I know I will feel so much better after that hehe.

  5. Thank you ladies! I thought the dress was perfect for a beach wedding. It was actually the only dress I had picked out from a magazine. Then went to RK bridal in NY to try it on. I choose a few other dresses to try on, just in case I couldn't work the dress. LOL But as soon as I put it on, I knew it was the one! Everyone kept saying, that's the dress. I loved the simplicity and elegance and the sexy twist it had. Evenmore so, the chiffon was so light and flowy.

  6. I'm sure you will look amazing in your BD shoot!! Remember to think sexy thoughts....It's for your husband!! LOL Let the pictures speak for themselves. I gave my husband my BD book as a wedding gift and he was very pleased! He was so pleased with it, he showed his best men!! LOL The best part of it, is that the photographer captured all of their expressions. It wasn't staged. It was priceless!! Here are the pics:

I finished Insanity last week and feel so good about it.  But now I feel lost LOL.  Everyday I am trying to decide...do Insanity, go to the gym, go to hot yoga....decisions decisions.

I have my BD shoot this weekend so I hope all the hard work shows in the pictures.  Gotta keep it up though.  I leave in just 4 weeks!!

  7. This issue came up with me as well and my TA called the wedding office and they agreed to write up a group contract and just added everyone who was already booked. I got all of my incentives, including free unlimited private functions for booking 75+ nights. Tell your TA not to take no for an answer. I'm surprise this didn't come up sooner. We had our issue squared away 6 months before the wedding because at the time I was booking my locations. Good luck!

  8. For my MP brides, I was so excited to do the sky latern thing and of course the night of my wedding it was too windy. smile27.gifValeria advised me earlier in the day that we were probably not going to be able to do it. So we monitered the wind conditions and as we reached nightime, it sure was windy. I was a bit bummed, but I got over it. Then, while honeymooning in Cabo, my husband and I were out to dinner at the Marina in Downtown. My husband says, look up! There's those light up things that you bought floating in the sky. I look up and there were pink sky laterns afloat! It was beautiful!! I hope the weather conditions cooperate and allow you ladies to do this. It totally WOWS you! Good Luck!

  9. Hi ladies.... We're back from our honeymoon! My husband received so many compliments from guest, while at the wedding. My husband is so pleased with the quality and fit of the suit that he is looking to order some suits in the near future. I will post some photos of him in his suit. We just got back, hopefully we can get ourselves settled and back on track by the weekend and I can share some pictures with you gals. Stay tuned!!

  10. Of course I don't mind! Definitely will do. I know.... I'm excited but stressed at the same time. Thank You sooo much :)

BTW, it's almost time for your special day!!! woot.gif  Thinking of you!!  Can't wait to hear how it all was for you when you return.  Best wishes and much happiness!!!

  11. They have some glue on the backing that melts when hotfix tool is placed over the crystal. Basically you place the crystal where you want it, hold the hotfix tool tip over it for a few seconds so the heat can go through it, and you're all done! It's glued. yes, I think it will stay. It's on there pretty darn well :) Thank You. It's pretty simple.

  12. I can't believe they told you no. They're allowing me to do it. My WC is Valeria. I asked Valeria at MP if we could release the lanterns from the Caribbean Terrace at the end of the reception, because it's on a rooftop and she said we'd have to do it on the beach. Which is fine by me because the beach is only 3 minutes walking distance. I don't like how they tell everyone something different. That's just not fair.

  13. I'm down to 145 lbs from 157 lbs back in March when I started. I lost 12 lbs total to date. It took me a long time to lose the weight because I was doing it the right way, which is eating healthy and working out. slow and steady and you'll maintain it in the long run. I've been extremely busy and the stress levels are through the roof as I finalize some last minute details before I leave on tuesday of next week. I really haven't had an appetite but still try to eat something. I'm sure with the stress I'll lose a few more pounds, which I really don't want because then my dress may fit too loosely. I'm excited and looking forward to the big day, however, I can't wait to get it all over and done with. Ugh!! STRESS!! LOL
