C- I do plan on shipping my stuff down there, I know its gonna cost me but I'd rather not deal with the extra baggage. Jbean- I felt the same way when Ana told me about the dinner options, I asked her if I could substitute the soup for a choice of two entree and she said that was ok. Who needs to eat soup in hot weather anyway

We are expecting now 40+ guests! So I feel like it may be difficult to arrange such a large croud without paying for it Jenlevergood, Thanks for the advice about the plaza bar, I think thats gonna be the spot! Sarahlcamp, I havent seen $85 for rehersal... Ana gave me the $35 quote for a set menu at a choice of 4 resturaunts. She also sent me the catering menu that i can send you if you like?

I like the maracas idea too, Its a fun favor. I need a little help deciding something. I really wanted to have a rehersal dinner but there is nooo waaay we are gonna pay $37 pp for an allready included dinner. So I was thinking of having my guests meet up at one of the bars the night before the wedding for welcome drink/ rehersal get-together. What bar location would be the best to do this at?

I booked an outside photographer as well and Ana told me $95 for there day pass. I think my photographer is bringing an assistant with her, so all in all I'll end up paying almost $200. But yes, all us gals should def bring down any e-mails that discuss price.

I did send her a pic, that makes sense now. I found a pic of a bouquet with mostly white lilly's and a few green orchids for my bouquet. And one with mostly green orchid and a few white calla lilly's for my BM's bouquets. I love them! And so true about the huppah NikkiT, I might re-think my choice.

I asked about orchid bouquets as well and Ana told me $75. Why are mine more$$? I'm also having my ceremony at 5:30... still debating on the hupa. All the ones I like seem to be the most expensive.

Hey heidilynn, I was given the same price quote for the DJ and Ipod. We are also trying to decide on this right now as well. We initally were gonna do the Ipod thing but then realized we didnt want to ask one of our guests to "man" the microphone. I really dont want to spent the extra money on a DJ but I think It might be less of a stress on us in the long run.

I might start looking for a dress in a month or two. I really love Elizabeth Medina but shes a little too expensive. I'm trying to stretch the budget for her but prob not. I just gotta keep looking I guess, how did you come across Cecilia?

We arrive the 14th, leave the 28th. We'll just miss eachother! Our plans our coming along as well. I'm still looking for a photgrapher, finished the wedding website, and just about to send out the save the dates. I feel VERY behind sched, May feels far away but I know its gonna sneak up on me fast! What photographer are you going with?

Tink, I have been working with Ana and so far she's been great and quick to respond! Ahollo, our wedding dates are 9 days apart! Hows your planing going?

heidilynn, GREAT pics! I've been trying to get pics of the some reception sites, so these are super helpfull. I really like the mexican terrace and the lobster pot for our reception, do you know which site holds more people?
