Hey Ladies  So Violeta has been much better now that im 2 weeks away and we had a 2 hr phone conversation the other to discuss details! Still some stuff to get back to me about but im not as worried now. Hope the weather keeps up!!  Just a quick question on if any of you have heard what the customary "tip" would be for the WC?? She is the main contact and doing alot of work to organize our big event but Im not sure what is the norm for tipping for WCs?? Help!  Nadia

Hey Amanda Thanks for the tips! Yeah I have tried calling her and have spoken to her a few times. Shes getting a little better the last 2 weeks but the big things that arent confirmed yet are kind of annoying Violeta said the gazebo can fit about 65-70 chairs comforably and then the younger guests know they may have to stand around the chairs. The ceremony will be about 20 mins so Im not that worried but I will see it when I get there and decide if we want to change it to the beach but i doubt we will- were paying extra for some extra decorations for the gazebo. Thats not a bad price for hair and makeup, my bridesmaid is a make up artist so i just needed hair and my hair was covered in my strawberry package. If you find any more info, please let me know. If not, I will def post some pics after the wedding And no idea about the sizes for the tables but im renting overlays thru a vendor Violeta found and i got her down to about $12-15/overlay depending on what your looking for. Hi Everyone Im getting married at the Bacelo in just a month- Oct 13/2010! Violeta started off being really great and responsive and now she is taking weeks to get back to me with so many big things still undecided. We have 120 guests coming and Im getting a little stressed at her time to get back to me. Our weding is at the Gazebo and the reception is in the banquet hall due to our larger numbers. She is giving me ideas for centerpeices that are coming to $105/each!!! Ouch!! Â msamanada- how much does Suzane Morel charge for hair? I have 6 bridesmaids that need their hair done and Violeta has still not got back to me on if the in house salon can accomodadte everyone? Â Thank you and good luck planning ladies

We are getting married at the Barcelo Los Cabos Oct 13/10

I am booked to have our wedding at the Barcelo on Oct 13/10. The reception can be done on the beach or in the banquet hall. All of this is extra pp. Its seems to get quite pricy but Violetta is really good at helping me out. She has not done alot of weddings so she is still learning too I think. The resort looks beautiful and I like the fact that theres only 1 wedding a day there.

Hello Everyone I was almost set on having our wedding in the Mayan but we changed our mind and are booked to get married now Oct 13/2010 at the Barcelo Los Cabos!

Hi Aleka We too are debating between those 3 exact resorts, pls let me know if you come up with any deciding factors. I really liked Dreams Riveria that just opened however I didnt get a Grand feel from the pics of the lobby etc and the other thing thats a little disappointing is how everything is extra!! The decorations etc. Good Luck

Hi Was wondering if any of your other wedding parties had more than 40 guests? It seems really pricy for add on guests for the chairs, reception dinner,drinks etc? Did anyone else find this? Also for the private reception on your wedding night, did you have to pay extra for the drinks on that night? I thought as an all "inclusive" it would be included? Thoughts....?
