I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but you ladies are always so helpful, I figured why not.
The girls chose this dress:
David's Bridal - Strapless Jersey A-line with Pleating and Ruched Charmeuse Bust
In the Horizon color.
They tried it on and loved it...except for the MOH. She wants to shorten it because she thinks it will be too hot for Mexico. I have to somewhat agree, I was surprised they picked out long dresses.
I can't ask the other girls to shorten their dresses since they like it long and they are already spending money they don't have.
I want to know your opinion on having the bridesmaids with long dresses and the MOH with the same dress but shortened. Do you think it will look odd?

Oh no! That is awful! The majority of my guests were under the assumption that it is all inclusive so me and FI don't pay for anything....boy are they wrong! Maybe you can drop the hint about it without coming out rude. At the very least they should give you money to cover themselves as a "wedding gift". So if you get the word to them then maybe they can slip you some money in a card. Couldn't hurt! -
Are any of your guests freaking out about this whole Mexico drug war thing? we are so far away I keep telling them to calm down, but they just don't get it since they have never been there before =(

I don't know, but I've heard about this and I would really love to know if they do it. I think you need to hire a videographer though?! Not sure.

I was told that we didn't have to pay as long as they were on one of their resorts. Any other resort though, Zulma told me that we would have to pay.

I say you buy shot glasses plain and decorate them yourselves. It is more personal and cheap. get a couple extra to practice on.

I ALWAYS worry about this! I can't imagine not getting married out by the beach! That is the whole point afterall. My TA told me that April is their rainy season, but I don't see that anywhere else. I booked in May just to make sure!Quote:

I'm doing a "bride and groom tracker". It basically tells them where we will be on certain days at certain times. Like Monday-5pm we are eating dinner at...join us if you like. No pressure there, just if they want to know where we are on certain days they will.

I'm getting married in mid May and the WC said that it gets very humid. Plus some of my guests have stressed that I shouldn't wear my hair down since they have been there around this time.Quote:

You ladies are going to laugh at me, but I decided to get this for my mom, the FMI and the bridesmaids. They are called Cleavage Coolers. I got it for my mom for xmas since she has hot flashes as a joke, and she uses it all the time in the summer now!!! Too funny!

It sounds like you are a lot like me. I had the same attitude about not wanting to plan one. The truth is you actually invest more time than usual in a DW. The responses back are usually unclear so it can be frustrating. I just stuck it out and planned everything myself, not relying on the resort at all. So it did cause more work for me than normal. I wouldn't take it back though! I know once I'm overlooking the beach while sayiing "I Do" it will be the right decision. You just have to take the leap and deal with it until it's that time. Hey girls, I'm sooooooooooo happy to find this thread!
I have already gone through my 90 day lean program, and whew it was tough. I did go from 148 to 133 though. So 15lbs! BTW...I never did the yoga, I would just sub in cardio.
I now just started the classic program since I want to gain muscle and it is so hard! I find that I can't do plyometrics since my knees are bad, so I sub in cardio. I also still do cardio on the yoga days since I HATE YOGA! I actually started to notice some definition, but i'm not where I want to be yet.
I tried the diet, did anyone else? I finally just took myself off of it and stayed on the healthy track! It was getting to be expensive!
I just wanted to jump in and tell you all that you should keep up with it because it works! I feel great! Being sore will just become a part of you now. LOL! Sounds bad, but you won't even realize you are actually sore anymore since you are use to it. I love love love P90X!

I agree, you should just have them do something else. You could have one of the guys do the sand ceremony then add another in to do a reading (doesn't have to be religious). Then just use 2 of them as ushers.
