Hi there...I actually got engaged at Vallarta Palace in 2007:) It is absolutely beautiful! We are going back to PV for our wedding, but are actually staying at Dreams and getting married at a beach house south of PV. For us, there were three reasons we didn't pick Vallarta Palace for us and our guests to stay at. One was price (Dreams PV was more affordable for our guests). The second was distance. It is about a 35-40 min drive north of the PV airport and our ceremony will be 1 hour south of PV, so it would be about 90 min to get our guests to the ceremony. The third was that the beach at Dreams is more private and sheltered in a cove, not as many people or vendors on the beach as there were at Vallarta Palace. It is absolutely gorgeous, though. We had no complaints, food was decent, service was AMAZING!. Good luck making your decision. Feel free to PM me if you want to talk more:)

I agree with Tinker, they are super cute:) BTW...I did the exact same kind of thing too, loved making jewelry and hairpieces for my bridesmaids and flower girl and decided to keep on going and open up an etsy shop;-)

Designer unknown, I bought this at the famous Filene's "Running of the Brides" last year, so it's a sample, but is in excellent condition and still has the tags attached. Never altered and from a non-smoking home. Has been stored in a plastic garment bag and only tried on for these pics. Asking $300 (I'll pay shipping within US, Canada, and Mexico), but I'd like to sell this dress ASAP and am willing to make a deal!

I really like the idea of having an engravable photo mat for our guestbook, like on this website: Unique Wedding Signature Mat and Frame Wedding Guest Book The only problem is, they're kind of expensive and I'm not sure if it will turn out well. Hi Ladies, Why did I have to keep trying on dresses? Somehow I have managed to purchase 3 dresses for my destination wedding next year and now I need to sell 2 of them to pay for "THE ONE" The two I have for sale were bought at the Filene's famous "Running of the Brides" event in Boston in August, meaning the dresses are samples or discontinued styles, but they are NEW WITH TAGS, NEVER ALTERED, and HAVE NOTHING WRONG with them. I will put a short description and photos of each here. As always, the pictures don't do the dress justice! Both have been stored in plastic garment bags in my non-smoking home. Would recommend a dry cleaning for each as the bottom hem is slightly dirty from trying on for pictures. If interested, email me at [email protected]. I am willing to negotiate so if you are at all interested or have questions, please contact me! DRESS #1: Mori Lee by Madeline Gardner, style 3651 (discontinued) white, size 8, with a halter neckline and beading down the left side and a draping that ties at the side. Zippered back, but has buttons all the way down the back for a nice effect. Asking $50, which is what I paid believe it or not! DRESS #2: Unknown designer (I have been trying to find information using the numbers on the tags, but so far haven't been successful), white, size 8, with a V-neckline and deep V in the back. Satiny-type material with just a little beading under the bust. Also a zippered back. Asking $250, which is what I paid. I think this dress would be so figure flattering once altered! Hi everyone, I am getting married 10/26/10 in PV and we (and the guests) are staying at the Dreams PV. Our actual ceremony/reception location is not at the resort though. I was actually just at Dreams this past October doing some of our wedding planning at our actual ceremony site.
