    So glad to have found some people getting married in Riu's in Puerto Plata...our wedding is set for February 27th 2010 and I am NERVOUS!!! My fiance is arranging and taking care of everything since he is over there and knows everyone and everything...but being a bride I am just hoping he does not mess up!!! How is everyones planning going so far?? Anything I should watch out for or warn him about?

    My fiance (soon to be husband) is born, raised and currently living in the Dominican Republic. We met April 18th 2008 while I was on vacation and he was taking a long weekend off to relax in the hotel I was staying in...got engaged September 26th 2009 and getting married February 27th 2010 in Riu Bachata, Puerto Plata. The whole process of "proving" our relationship is a bit of a downer but it's just something that must be done in order to be together.
