Funny though... my WC never mentionned the terrace... she just mentionned the inside bar area. I just got your email ... but you asked to reply all and I think you forgot to cc your personal email address!! Please send it to me again! Thanks!
  2. Hi all! New to this forum ... silly me... I started a January 2011 bride thread a few moments ago not realizing there already was one! I'm getting married at the Grand Palladium on January 19th, 2011... I booked the date 2 weeks ago, bought my dress, booked my photographer (Del Sol...amazing!), booked a DJ (dj MANNIA...also amazing)... and 27 flights are booked so far! Not bad for my crash wedding planning! I'm wondering what you guys are doing for the groom/ groomsmen's attire? I just came to the realization that they should probably buy it soon since summer clothes will be out of season before we know it!
  3. I'm getting married at the Grand Palladium and they have a beautiful garden gazebo and also a catholic chapel if youre interested in that. I have attached a link to a photo album that has some great photos of the garden gazebo and the private reception area. del Sol Photography Wedding Photojournalism The private reception costs anywhere from 50 to 60 dollars per person, depending on the menu you select... so yes, it is an extra cost but well worth it in my opinion! There are some great reviews on this site. Also, we will be travelling with many children and we selected this resort because it's very family friendly... I think there is a daycare open until 11pm (and the daycare actually has excellent reviews), there are tons of activities, babysitting services, kids pool and play areas, etc... Hope this helps!

Erika is my WC - she offered me the following option: "I suggest a lovely terrace we have close to the catholic chapel ( pictures enclosed )"...is your ceremony on the beach or at the garden gazebo? If you plan to go to the garden gazebo/ chapel for pics than maybe this spot would work for you...I would send it to you but I'm still figuring out this whole forum thing! You can email me at [email protected] and I'll send u the info I got!
  6. Hi all! I'm new to the forum - just recently booked our Catholic wedding at the Grand Palladium on January 19, 2011 - so excited! We will be 50+ people and are having a private Reception at the Laguna - but I'm also interested in the cocktail hour prior to the reception... does anyone know where cocktail hour is usually held? I have requested some info from Erika but haven't heard back yet.
