Everything was amazing. All of my planning really came in handy. My WC said that she was so impressed with my powerpoint information I emailed her complete with pics for the additional tables lol.

I was about 20 minutes late AND my MOH forgot to attach my veil!! I was soooooo pissed that I walked down the aisle without my veil, but in the end it didn't matter. It was so windy that it would have probably looked crazy whipping everywhere. I had a chance to take pics with it later so it all worked out fine.

When we were taking pics on the beach, the tide came in and wet my dress, it was so funny to see everyones faces behind the photog looking like disaster was about to strike.. we all just started running back up shore no one even turned around to see what the trouble was LOL we all sensed danger and took off running sooo funny!! Can't wait to see the video of that. Then the photog snapped a posed shot of me pouting after getting wet LMAO true Timberly drama queen fashion. The next day I went into town to take pics with the photog. We got some great downtown "real Mexico" shots. I can't wait to see them.

I enjoyed every minute of it. I was so worried about my hair, but the ladies came in and made me look beautiful. I am getting my review done and will post that soon. I had every intention on going to work today but I didn't get to sleep until 5:30 am so work at 8:30 was NOT an option.

I know it has been said before, but everything will come together and look beautiful. Try not to worry ladies!!

Welcome our April (first to be stalked) bride. Can't wait to get to know you.

Your guests that do not book at the resort DID NOT.

It is very unfair for the resort guests that paid to stay there to be inconvenienced by others that did not pay.

The day pass fee goes to cover extra food AND service costs that will incur with people not staying at the resort.
That brings it all into perspective Tammy. I had to pay the day pass for 6 guests and did not even complain. I know the costs to stay on property and I saw firsthand the EXCELLENT service that was provided throughout the entire stay so I know that it is worth every penny!!

If I were you I would not plan around hopes getting the day pass fee "waived" not only would it not be fair to other brides that had to pay the fee, but it is highly unlikely that they will waive it unless your guests had reservations at Dreams and showed up and was given a room at the sister property. (This happened to 2 of my guests)

For what I believe is a rare occurance, Dreams was so accomodating by providing free taxis to travel back and forth between the hotels --they were literally right next door to each other..no taxis were used except when it was dark. Those guests were given free passes to use the faciilities at all times and received other treats for what could have been an inconvenience it they weren't so darn helpful and nice. They offered to move them on property the very next day, but they stayed at the sister property because they were so well taken care of.
  3. I had a cigar roller during my reception. Everyone loved it! The women and men were smoking :) the charge was 300us and 30 cigars included! The roller posed for pics, but wasn't sociable lol he was serious about rolling those cigars lol. I say if it is in the budget...do it!!

CONGRATULATIONS on your new Mrs.-ness! wink.gif
Thanks sooooo much Cindy and the rest of you beautiful ladies. My day was absolutely perfect. Despite mother nature playing a cruel joke on me (delayed my arrival into Cabo by 2 days) there was not one single thing I would change about the day period!!

Islandbride "Mrs.-ness" you are too funny!
  5. Jess, I just returned from my wedding at Dreams. It was sold out over this busy weekend as well. I didn't feel overwhelmed with too many people and my room service ALWAYS arrived in under 20 minutes, even during busy hours. Everyone was still very accomodating and there were chairs available poolside the entire time. I ordered chicken nuggets literally 10 minutes before my car service was supposed to arrive to take us to the airport and they arrived in 8 minutes (I asked them to rush it for our daughter) I believe there was a 35 minute wait on one evening for a restaurant. I told them my group was there for my wedding and they seated about 15 of us in less than 20 minutes. I would not worry about feeling overwhelmed even in a "sold out" situation, they are AMAZING!! Good luck with further planning

  6. I did it... It was absolutely perfect!!! 17 of our guests didn't make it due to weather, but honestly, I didn't miss anyone! I can't wait to post pics and give my review because I felt like a queen on our day. In the end it didn't matter that the vacation was cut short, all that mattered is that I walked down that aisle to my handsome husband and our adorable daughter!

    Happy wedding day shells!!!!

I love you girls for all the kind words and support. I can't wait to see some of you in July and the rest of you soon after that! Thanks for everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Well ladies, I am a sobbing inconsolable wreck. Due to the snow storm that hit NY I am stranded her until Saturday. I am turning my phone and pc off and crawling into a deep dark hole. I can't take people calling, and calling and calling asking for updates sad.gif. All of this planning and anticipation for THIS!?! I feel devastated. I hope the flight is not canceled on Saturday, I would just die sad.gif.
