Jen thank you so much for sharing your pictures! They make me a little more relaxed about not seeing the resort before my wedding! It looks really pretty. My wedding planner just got back from the resort and I am excited to see her pictures too! I was wondering what people are having their groom/groomsmen wear? We are planning on white linen but I wasn't sure where we could get them from. Anyone have ideas? Thanks!!

My FI and I are looking at an April/May 2011 wedding date. I sent off my request to get some more information from the hotel. I am also hoping to find a TA to book everything through for my family and friends eventually. Does anyone have any advice to finding a TA that is knowledgable about Dreams? Also does this resort give any discounts for getting married on a weekday? Is everyone planning a legal wedding or just symbolic? I am getting married on a Thursday and there isn't any special discounts for weekdays, that I was told of. I just didn't want to get married and then have to leave the next day. I am working through a travel agent also. She is the one my guests are responding to and will coordinate all the travel arrangements for me. I am not getting married till next October, but I am sending out my invites next month. My wedding planner here said she thinks sending out the invites early is much better. With the agency we are going through, we get the best rate from when we sign up until 3 weeks before the wedding. We are also having a symbolic wedding. No one will know that we are getting married in the states first. I just feel really uncomfortable having my blood drawn in Mexico and I guess that it can take up to 4 months for it to be legal. So we figured to just have it legal before we leave. Also, if you get married first, you can have a minister at your ceremony in Mexico. If you get married in Mexico, it has to be a judge. Our wedding planner told us that having a minister is a much more romantic wedding and we are able to have religious touches to our wedding. Hope your wedding planning is going well!!

I haven't figured it all out yet though. Maybe I will have someone play during dinner too. Is anyone getting a DJ? I was planning on it, but wondered if that seems weird with only 30 people. What is everyone else doing? I think I am still getting a DJ. I want everyone to be able to have fun even though I am only expecting like 40 people. So I am counting on a DJ

Here is a list that she sent me of the photographers allowed on the resort: Juan Navarro: principal Vallarta Adventures Claudia Rodriguez Not all of theses photographers are included in the packages though. The ones they use for the packages are: Juan Navarro: principal Daniela: Sweet Caribbean ? Wedding photo Vallarta adventures: Puerto Vallarta - Adventure Weddings Get married at LasCaletas, Mexico So basically they don't include Claudia. If you want her website it is: claudiaphoto.com . I chose Claudia, she is kinda expensive, but I wanted really good photos to remember my day by. If you choose Claudia Ana told me that they can't do anything different in the packages (no price reduction). Hope this helps!

Has anyone decided what location to have their ceremony at? There is another wedding on the same date as mine so I originally nervous I wouldnt get the deck (thats what I wanted all along) and now I'm nervous that if the other bride chooses the pool area her party will be right next to mine. Ana has assured me that everything will be perfect but I worry too much. Any way hope everyone enjoys the pics. I too would love to see pictures. I didn't really decided on where yet, all I don't want is the gazebo. I was thinking of everything on the beach, but I wasn't aware of anyother places to have them.

I can't find info about that ANYWHERE! Thanks so much!! Have an amazing time :-) I also am not a fan of the wedding gazebo or the location of it. I talked to Ana about it and she said we have the option of having the wedding on the beach. They will set up a canopy with white clothes hanging, white garden chairs, and table with white cover. I am planning on having everything on the beach; ceremony, dinner, and dancing. I am not sure what everyone else is planning.

If anyone is looking for a Photographer I am using Claudia Rodriguez. She has a website and her work is amazing!! I met her in person and she is just awesome. She made me really excited. She is cool and so nice...my mom and I were so impressed by her and her work. I just booked Claudia for my wedding in October too. I am a bit nervous about the resort since I wont be going there before the wedding. but I am glad lots of people say it is so nice!
