I also really wanted a starfish for my bouquet but every site I found wanted ridiculous shipping $65 for a $15 starfish!

I found a website that has the bottle stoppers and the starfish that wants only $18 shipping! thewave.gif

So I ordered the starfish Starfish Bouquet Jewelry - 3 colors

Andddd a fuschia and orange garter to go with my wedding colours woop pinkie.gif

    Darling Duo Fuchsia/Orange Garter

Also great Idea to get a list going of UK brides!!! xx
have you thought about buying things out there? i am worried about weight, so im getting my tea lights, shot glasses and star fish from wallmart out there!

Girls my "bride" bag was from graciousbridal.com and was $19.95.

I love the starfish bottle stops Kerry! lovely idea...

with regard to weight... is it one case per paying person? I heard you can also have an extra case for the wedding dress is this correct? I am putting my dress in a hand luggage case so was thinking of using the spare one for wedding bits? Can anyone enlighten me on what is and isn't correct? Thanx
it depends on your airline. im with thomas cook. out hand luggage is only 5kg and 23x17x11 so there's no way i can take my dress on as hand luggage. but we did get a free suitcase up to 20kg for wedding 'etire' only!
  3. Morning girls

i love the engraved frame too, remember the weight though! now im at the packing stages you have to be so careful how much stuff you're taking!

tomorrow's my last day in the office, thank GOD! i am just looking forward to getting out there and it all coming together!

i wasn't going to do the something borrowed/blue/old/new thing, until people started buying me things!! so far i have old (my nan's ring) new (my dress) and Blue (the girls bought me 'I Do' crystals for the bottom of my shoes!) so need borrowed. but i can't think of ANYTHING to borrow as i have everything!!!

Maybe because it seems so far away still, even though it´s not really, it´s too damn hot to move, and I LIKE BEER too much. :sigh:
    What can you do?
don't do it if you don't want/have to! your H2B is marrying you for you and i bet he LOVES how you look! don't put yourself under the pressure!!

i had to lose weight, just for my health, my bmi was way to high! it helped having a wedding to spur me on, but after the wedding i still have a way to go and i want to be healthy. if you're healthy and enjoy life as it is, don't change things! i'm a bit jealous! wink.gif

thank CRUNCHIE it's Friday girls! x
  6. Talking of contact with WC's, mine has been here and there. Sometimes she's really good and replies the next day, and then others i can't get a reply for love nor money. i've emailed her three times the last 10 days and had NO reply at all! i am not overly worried about it, cause i know it can all be sorted out there, but i wouldn't mind if she did come back to me!!

on the plus side, i emailed the spa at the resort to book in my manicure and pedicure and my hair trial and for my hair to be done on the day, they've come back and confirmed the times and told all of us that we all have $300 complimentary to spend at the spa! WAHOOO! so we've all booked things, manicures and facials and massages! it's going to rock!

  7. i always take these reviews with a pinch of salt. not many people take the time out to write good reviews, but want to spread the world of things that upset them. im sure even if it is busy you will be in the party spirit anyway! don't even worry about it!

hey Yeya99! welcome to London!! where you moving too? i live out of london but work in Shoreditch, which is just behind Liverpool street station. London is huge, but has a big expat community. have you looked into googling for american expats in london? i bet you'll find a whole network! and you'll make friends quickly too! will you be working here? what kind of job? good luck!

i am a LOT calmer today than yesterday, thank goodness!
