  1. I am interested in the travel size OOT items, the battery operated tealights and bags. If you still have them available I would love them. My email is [email protected] if I could purchase them. Also, where did you purchase the orchid and tealight candles? I am looking for both! Kelly
  2. Oh!! I wish you still had the paper lanterns left! Can I ask where you purchased them from? Thanks, Kelly
  3. Hi Everyone, I thought maybe you could help me. I am getting married at the Half Moon in Montego Bay. I am working on my budget and going through vendors/people to tip. The wedding coordinator, photographer, officiant, Steel Drum Band, and food all contains a 15% tip included in the cost. Do I tip on top of that? We are giving our wedding coordinator a gift for all that she is doing. What do you think? In the articles I have been reading it says to tip bartenders, servers, etc. I would think that the 15% gratuity cost of food & beverage would be split amongst them. Very unsure! Hope you can help! Thank YOu! Kelly
  4. I would love them! They are great and we are getting married April 17th, 2010. We are going to give them to our groomsmen! How should we go forth with this if they aren't already gone? Kelly My email address is [email protected]
  5. Hi Everyone, I was wondering if any of you are using a cigar roller during your reception? The resort has offered us cigars to give out already rolled but we would prefer to have the roller there himself rolling the cigars. I am looking to find someone out of the resort. Any recs? Thanks, Kelly
  6. Does anyone know of any coffee table books about Jamaica? I have seen some in the Half Moon Resort where I am getting married but wondered if anyone knows of any I could purchase here in the US. I'm looking for one that has beautiful large photos. Thank you! Kelly

  9. A few months ago I read a post that a bride decided to give her guests a 200ml bottle of appleton rum. The contact person was even listed for who to get in touch with at the appleton rum estate. I tried to get in contact with them twice but no response. So basically...has anyone purchased 200 ml of appleton rum bottles for their wedding favors in jamaica. I would like to get them delivered to the resort and not have them send for the US to Jamaica. Any advice or helpful news! Kelly
  10. Hi All, I'm a new member of the site and am looking forward to getting some great ideas and advice for planning my wedding. My name is Kelly and I am getting married to my wonderful fiance on April 17, 2010 at Half Moon in Montego Bay, Jamaica. I have mostly everything booked by am now getting down the major details. I'm working on my favors and guest book right now. SO far my idea is a 200 ml bottle of appleton rum for the favors. I am unable to get in touch with the appleton rum estate so am a little frustrated. I am also looking for a coffee table book of Jamaica. One with many photographs of the beautiful beaches and landscapes. Hope everyone is having a great planning experience. Kelly
