Me TOO MEL!!!! 2 weeks today and we'll be on a plane as well! I can't wait, I need a vacation from all this wedding planning!! lol I can't wait to hear about everyone's trips and see all the pics it's going to be amazing!! MEGHAN!!!!!!!!!!! please tell me this is not the same GM that decided he didn't "like" what he was to wear to YOUR wedding!! I probably would have had a class 4 meltdown at the airport!!! lol Taylor - awesome job on the planning thread!!! I don't think I'll be organized enough to pull getting everything together, well if I can swing it, it will definitely only be after the wedding!!

I got my mugs from Discount Mugs!!!! Very exciting, I ordered them blank - and I'm putting on our own labels, so when I get that finished I will post some pics! I ordered 32 mugs...customs and brokerage charge ended up only being $35 CDN...so so so good!!! I was expecting around $60-70, but I had a pretty small order and it makes your order much less expensive if you order them blank, bringing down the charges a lot - shipping was really fast too - and that only cost $25 Also, the mugs came individually bagged and boxed, not a pretty box, but they all come with their own box!

So initially it's been the drug wars, then the earthquake...any piece of media she sees/reads kind of gets her nerves all in a jumble, and now that everything is coming so close I think it's all really freaking her out. ugh, she did try to cancel and she can't, so looks like she is coming, but this has all been sooooo draining, I just hope once she gets there she will have fun and realize she didn't have to worry sooo much!! Sorry I haven't been able to catch up on everything ladies....I will read up on things and try to catch up on all the happenings!! Hoping all is well with everyone, we're in the homestretch now!!! )

Mel, Thanks for your kind words, it's pretty upsetting but I do know this is what we've always wanted and I wouldn't change things anyway! She called to cancel today and I think their travel ins only covers natural disasters, carrier bankruptcy etc...but now I'm feeling awful knowing she doesn't want to go and now is forced too. It's a mess for sure.... And for your dilemma: Yay!!!! on him dumping the Cow!!!!! he's so going to look back and wonder why he didn't do it sooner...but her antics just prove how much of a Mad Cow she actually is!!!!!! Especially when he had already paid for both their trips!!!! Not to happy that she had to be paid off, I'm sure, but at least his tic didn't get canceled!!! So congrats on that!!! As for Cuba, we would have loved to go there too, but we have some Americans coming too, had to nix that plan!!!! GORGEOUS beaches, it will be absolutely amazing!!! and just think, now your whole group will have even more fun - minus the Cow!!! ;o)

Michele, you must be so glad to be done work tomorrow! so exciting! Tracy, so sorry you have to go through this added stress with your GF, if it makes you feel any better I'm having lots of problems, my mom wants to cancel her trip now...3 weeks before the wedding. This has put a HUGE stress on me and has me pretty down and emotional. I don't want to force anyone to do anything they aren't comfortable with, but I do want my Mom at my own wedding...considering I don't have a huge family attendance coming anyway, at least we have lots of our mutual friends coming, they should be able to fill up my empty lacking family side. Hope all is going well with everyone else, I haven't had a chance to catch up on everything yet, it was a pretty buy weekend with Easter and all. I actually told FI to shoot me next time I had a bright idea like inviting everyone over to our house for Easter - although because I cooked for 2 days straight, the last thing I wanted to do was eat anything! lol so that's a good thing!

Sasse - Me too!! I've actually cut down my "want to do list" by half, and anything that doesn't get done, OH WELL!!! the whole reason for a DW was not to stress right! lol, yeah right! I'm kinda freaking at the lack of time, so I can imagine you are too!! just can't believe that we decided over a year ago and now it's here!!!! and I still have no tan, lol! GettnHitched - In my understanding you are not allowed music or dancing in the a la carte restaurants...but I think you can get away with some sort of speeches, but def not dancing, that's what I've been told anyway

This is absolutely nuts, like I had a year and a half, what happened to the time Mel, so exciting you're taking a limo, that's sooooo fun - I didn't even think of how we're going to get to the airport! considering all our friends are coming....wholly crap, more to think about. So I had lost my ticker, and no wonder I didn't know what the hell was going on!! lol, I must have deleted it by mistake when I posted a new siggy pic - man I was lost! Hope everyone had a great weekend, I'm going to try and get some stuff done so that I know where I'm at!! On a different note, I was back and forth between restaurants and couldn't pic, like for the life of me! and now the one we wanted is booked - of course, so that forces us to do the semi private option and That totally makes ME happy, but maybe not our wallet so much, lol Little stressed to say the least!!! It'll all work out, just picking a less expensive ceremony option to compensate a little so I won't be pampered as much, but I'm hoping to not really have the time!

Ok I know it's been way too long, but just though I'd pop in and say that I'm totally freaking out!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't believe the time is almost here!! hahahaha Can't wait! I know someone, I think Michele, had mentioned freaking out pages of thread ago....but it's been a while since I posted anything - haven't caught up on anything but hopefully will soon. I'm way behind, like need to do a major list - I keep taking on tasks I probably won't complete, Thanks Meghan, lol jk! so all in all I'm nowhere closer to being finished anything than I was 4 months ago.....that's really sad. I have finished 1 BM bouquet - I have to tweak it a little bit, but all in all I'm pretty happy with how they turned out and the price can't be beat!! $13 each, not too bad, eh? Oh and my BM's Dresses FINALLY came in!!! and I love them, now just hoping that they all fit or I'll be screwed, lol, not really funny cause it's true - but they match the ribbon perfect too, considering I made the bouquets before the dresses came in! Phew!!!!!!!!!!! Here's a pic: there are a couple things I need to fix but this is it for the most part!
