  1. Thanks for your input ladies. We had printed some cheaper (box set) invites from Office Depot for people who we know for sure aren't coming but would appreciate an invite and for his parents and older folks. Others on our list are all in our age range and are mostly on email and everyone is scattered around the globe, so email has worked so far. We are pretty sizable wedding but some guests have already started booking. I could do something creative/cheap but will have to think about it.

  2. Jen - Love, love your photos. Looks like so much fun. Ladies the FI and I spent Christmas at the EPM. We met Yamina and like Jen said, she is amazing. She is so experienced with weddings, but also very busy. However, she'll take care of you once it's your time - so to speak. We are so excited about getting married there. We were going to get married at the La Amada, but are now switching to the EPM and besides we have a pretty large guest list. We fell in love with the place. Now on to the rest of the planning.

  3. Ladies - The FI and I went invitation shopping and plan to order about 150 invitations. We are having a pretty sizable destination wedding and these are for people that are coming or highly likely to come. We bought some in-the-box invites from office depot for those we know are not coming. However, since we got an estimate the FI doesn't think we should send them because a. very few people have sent their mailing address to us after our request. b. he doesn't believe people care about paper invitates anymore. We sent out an e-STD and a really detailed newsletter with a message from us, TA info, hotel info, location info. He thinks we should just continue with that and doesn't see the point and isn't so concerned with other people's perceptions about not sending paper invites.

My question is: Has anyone else totally scrapped the paper invites?

I'm having an etsy seller make something similar. However, I'm probably going to end up kicking myself because I didn't order a matching bouquet for me. These are just for my girls, also ordered bouts for the guys, and corsages for moms. We're just going to take whatever comes free with the wedding package but I have a feeling I'll end up wanting them to match. Haha.
I love this! I am considering real touch flowers now. I want a royal blue/navy blue bouquet for me. Just not sure what flower.
