Congratulations to all the brides-to-be! My fiance and I are getting married at Dreams Palm Beach on May 7, 2010 at 1:30 in the afternoon. We too were a little concerned with having an early afternoon wedding, because we aren't sure yet as to what we'll do to pass the time with our 30-40 guests. Hopefully we'll be able to figure something out that will be fun for everyone. We're in the process of deciding on a wedding package and getting some info/pics from Melani the WC down there. Hi, My fiance and I stayed at Dreams Punta Cana two years ago when it was Sunscape. It's a great resort and the grounds are beautiful. We are getting married on May 7, 2010 at Dreams Palm Beach. The reviews have been pretty good and others who have been and married there rave about it. Though we wouldn't have a problem going back to Dreams Punta Cana, the rooms at DPB are much nicer looking and I heard the service and wedding co-ordinator are amazing! Good Luck! Roxanne

Hi there!! My fiance and I have chosen Dreams Palm Beach as well. We are getting married on May 7, 2010. Melani, like Erinsny said is very nice and extremely helpful. She responds to e-mails rather quickly, sometimes within the hour. I have had 3 or 4 phone conversations with her now and she seems great! She is willing to help in anyway she can. I've spent a lot of time on trip advisor reading all the good and bad reviews about Dreams Palm Beach. I find the bad reviews are around mosquitoes, or waiting 45 minutes to eat dinner at the restaurants. The good reviews, talk about how beautiful the resort is, clean rooms, good food, and extremely friendly staff! It was on our top 3 list, and after speaking with Melani, we made our choice quite easily. The other co-ordinators at other resorts aren't as fast in their responses. We e-mailed the Paradisus Palma real 3 weeks ago and just got a response today! Hope this helps!!! Good luck in your planning!

Hi everyone! My fiance and I are booked for April 27, 2010 at Dreams Palm Beach. Dealing with Melani the WC over e-mails and phone calls have been amazing, she's really great. We are having a civil wedding, which are only performed in the mornings, but I'm sure we will make a great day out of it. We are expecting about 30 guests and can't wait for next year! Congratulations!!! Spent a week there in May of 2007 before it was changed over to a Dreams resort...had the most relaxing week there! Beautiful resort.
