  1. I got married 10 days before my ceremony in DR and only my siblings and parents knew since it was a small thing in City Hall just to legalize everything.

  3. I used the sound system for the ceremony and it was better then I thought. The music was clear and loud. I think if you are using the violinist for the ceremony you should save your money and just get a CD. For the cocktail hour I used the trio and everyone loved them. They are great! Gives it a great island fill to have them play.

I used one for each cylinder.
  5. I would not have paid an extra $1000 on top of what I was already paying the resort for a go to person. I feel that if you pick a resort the answering questions and getting the help you need is part of deal and this should be free and trustworthy. Plus even if I had a person to verify everything I would still be on top of things bc thats just the way I am so the $1000 would go to waste.

No I did not. what I did was I bought a monogram and enlarged it at kinkos. I layed the black and white copy under my aisle runner and I traced with paint the monogram. But I almost ripped the runner bc the paint stuck to the copy when I tried to remove it. So your best bet is to trace it and place wax paper below then paint the runner.

It has LED submergable tealights in pink, little clear crystals, and silk orchid stems from Michael's cut to size in 3 different orchid colors, as well as a floating candle.

Thank you brides and bride to be for all your help. My wedding date is June 5, 2010 at Paradisus Punta Cana I got engaged on the 4th of July 2009 in the middle of the Brooklyn Bridge. This is the beautiful ring my fiancé placed on my finger After that day there was no stopping me. The first thing I did was create my save the dates. Here is the magnet we chose. Next was the location. We decided on the Paradisus Punta Cana. This is the set up for our beach ceremony. Cocktail Hour will be by the beach on the grassy area My Reception will take place at El Romantico Restaurant

  18. Here is my OOT bags. It has a word puzzle book, pen, cups, scented candle, room key tag, Recovery kit (lip balm w/ Spf, sun tan lotion, advil, pepto, insect repellent, tide, hand sanitizer, gum, lotion, sewing kit), tissue.
  19. PM me your email. I have photos of Gabi to send you. Also for the ladies that are having weddings next year Im sure that is why they are not giving your emails priority. If I were you guys I would request a coordinator thats outside of the resort like I had. My questions at most would take 1 week to be answered and sometimes I would get an answer the same day. I am interested in hearing your experiences w/ the Palma Real!! Are you all going bananas or am I alone here?!
  20. Hi, I stood at PPC and The Reserve had a Gabi restaurant and the colors were a goldish creme and a baby turqouise/seafoam. Not sure if Palma has the same decor. I have a call with a wedding coordinator on monday to answer all my questions b/c I have been tossed around a bit. She is based out of CANADA? WHAT? Weird! Why am I talking to someone out of Cananda about the wedding info. I have many quesitons too on the terrace vs. the gabi club. My number 1 reception location is the gabi restaurant club but realized they want to add a 25% tax on top of the reception location and think that is insane. Is anyone able to negotiate that price? We are having 65-70 guests and I know that placed holds double. WAnt to see if that os workable as I love the gabii restaurant but feel the price is high. Let me know what the terrace give you if you dont mind. Im trying to decide as well on reception options/prices etc. This resort prices out higher on the wdding side I feel like. Thanks Hello, I had my wedding at PPC this month and the 25% is non negotiable for food and drink. My coordinator was Teresa from Canada and she was great. You are better off dealing with her then the girls directly in the resort until the day you get there. Regarding prices they are very elevated. I had an estimnated 52 guest and my experience was wonderful despite the cost. What I recommend is that you ask alot of questions. Read all the forums for that resort and think about what would make for a nice comfortable event. If you are concerned about cost before booking request a payment calculator and dont forget to add taxes before booking.
  22. I stated when they didn't realize that the people on the outer envelope were the people invited that our wedding was a small an intimate affair. I also added that it was an adult reception. That way if families were trying to make it out to be a vacation they were aware that they had to find sitting at the resort or with a family member the day of the wedding.
  23. I got married at 5:30 on June 5th in Punta Cana. The sun was setting but it allowed for a comfortable environment since the sun was not strong.
