Thanks Gals...Your wedding will be everything you could imagine. We had an outside DJ, DJ Bob. He made our reception rock. His charge was $450.00. USD. Also had poolside reception. Our dinner was at the Gourmet, excellent food. Our menu was chicken or steak.Karla had us in a separate room, beautiful decorated with name tags and mexican wedding favors. Our wedding cake was a 3 layer tres leches with rose petals and we chose red and white roses for our cake topper instead of a traditional one since we did not have a traditional wedding, mexican/ husband and canadian/ myself. My bouquet was white and red roses. Seriously brides to be, you dont have any worries. The resort photographer is excellent,the wedding coordinators know exactly what their doing. They will be with you all thru the day... Take in every moment of your wedding day... I had my hair,make up and french manicure done at the bahia spa, the gals were great... If any one of you need prices or are interested in seeing my bouquet, or need pricing on the hair, makeup and manicure or just questions in general i would be happy to respond... Hi Gals... Havnt been here for awhile. Just came back home yesterday. Everything was 100%. The wedding coordinator, Karla was superb. Same as the the resort photographer, pictures that he captured on our wedding day are beautiful and prices are not that bad...Dont worry about tables, flowers and all those little things... Just think about it, your going to a different country, culture. The mexican culture will out do us at any given time, as they sure know how to set up a wedding. Right from the beginning of ur wedding day, until the end... In the end, think about what matters... your getting married in a beautiful country with beautiful people...

I literally have searched thru this site for hrs,I`ll be writing the english and my fh can write the spanish. We`ll be giving our OOT bags and letters out at our welcome dinner that we booked with Karla, on the eve on of arrival. I see ur not in London anylonger. If I am seeing right, ur in Texas now? I sure do envy u, getting to be quite frosty here... 4 1/2 weeks and we also will be warm... I don't have a template for a welcome letter... we ended up writing individual notes by hand. We grabbed some Bahia Principe letterhead at the front desk, wrote these for the guests the night before they arrived and made sure to include our room number and how they could reach us. Then we dropped them off at the front desk and they delivered these for free... whereas delivery of the OOT bags would have been $2/ea. Then we also did OOT bags that we handed out at the welcome dinner/rehearsal dinner. On the outside they said "Welcome to Mexico. Thank you for joining us. We hope you enjoy your stay." (Kinda hard to see in the pic attached.) Group Rates - we didn't end up doing a group rate because people were coming from all different directions. Most of our guests booked through Expedia or Orbitz or directly through the hotel website. The best rates seemed to be around 8 months before the wedding, and exactly one month before the wedding (but no later bc the guests that booked last min ended up paying really steep rates.) HTH.

Thank u Raykel...And Yes the resort allows u to bring a photographer in. The cost is $90.00 USD. Karla at the Bahia says nothing so far has changed, they`ll def. give notice before making changes.
