Both are amazing and you are going to make a beautiful bride no matter which dress you choose. 

So we got our group rate that the hotel is offereing us and it seems REALLY high.  (it is almost double the current rate)  There are many specials through website that are like half the price of the group rate that they are offereing us.  The hotel is not yet booking our wedding date on thier website so it is really hard to compare apples to apples but this is really frustrating. 

Has anyone had this experience? 

Are the hotel group rates higher for some reason? 

If you use the group rates and the rooms go way down in price will they honor the new rates?

WTF....kinda bumbed now.........what if we wait to book to get a discount rate and rooms are all gone?

Congrats on your engagement and I am sorry you are frustreted and stressed!  First of all I have to tell you that almost ALL of us on this site have gotten some sort of grief from family or friends at some point in their DW planning.  It sucks and is unfair and I dont know how any of these people have the NERVE of asking people to change something about someone elses WEDDING!!!!! THEY ARE ATTENDING IT NOT GETTING MARRIED.  grrrr this makes me so mad

My futture mother in law hates that we are getting married away in another county and everytime I see her she mentions it.  Oh freaking well.  It is OUR choice not hers. 

If you want to get married at the trash facility you should be able to.  Do what you want and stick to your guns!  Enjoy the process. It is your time! 

This should be a happy amazing time for you and your family.  Hopefully they will come to understand that.

I hate to be the center of attention so i am not going to wear any bride stuff....but I am going to wear white during the rehersal dinner and while getting ready!  Thats it.  I love the cute bride stuff!  so fun!

I am not getting married at the ROR but we arenot having a private reception.  Personally I feel it is silly to pay for drinks when it is an AI and we can just all find a place to hang out.  As for dinner we are just going to head down to the resturants and see what happens.  Maybe ask for a group of tables to be reserved ahead of time.  But that is us.  We  are very laided back about most of the things and dont want a production. Just want everyone to enjoy each other and their time.  Very informal.

Oh sh*t I  just realized my ceromomy is at 5pm and sunset is at 5:47 on that day!  I know I want the moment that we see each other to be walking down the eisle and we can take whatever pictures we can before the sun is gone.  Maybe my WC will let us bump it up by 30 min to 4:30!

Super HOT Shoes!!!!

I took my ring off twice in Bikram yoga and both times I left it and had to run back in for it.  I guess I learned that I should not take it off! 

Bari jay has a color that looks exactly like the tiffany color and lots of sexy fun styles to choose from! 

Dessy Group also has a HUGE selection.  "Pantone tourquise" and "Spa" colors look really close to Tiffany blue.

I live right by The Vintner Grill and it is a really great resturaunt!  We spend lots of time at red rock and that place is amazing also.  The Mariott in summerlin has an amazing lush wedding enviornement if your looking for that.

Hello MrsStairs congrats on the engagment this site will give you lot of information to help pick a resort.  I used websites sites like localgringo, vacationstogo.com and others in the beginning to help narrow down resorts.  They allow you to group all of the hotels in the mayan riveria by AI or non AIs and then you can group them by adult only and family etc.  It really helps

I am actually getting married at the grand sunset princess.  Will you let me know how your engagment trip was...any tips or advice.  Thanks so much!
