Hi loanmao I actually booked my April 4th wedding through Doreen. She was pretty good but a bit on the loopy side, so that had me a bit skeptical. Even though I know she is just part of the Real Resorts sales office but I was still a bit concerned wheb she couldn't seem to get the wedding date straight. But everything has been straightened out and we have put down the deposit so we are on our way! Have you decided on a date yet?

Hello! I'm also going to be married at the Royal. I've read a few reviews for the Royal by other brides and they all said that we are going to be in good hands. Yay! I just wonder how much before the wedding the wedding planner gets in contact with the bride? I've heard a month but if anyone has heard otherwise, please let me know

Hello Everyone!! I’m also an April 2010 bride and I will be getting married at the Royal in Playa del Carmen. I thought I was ahead of the game, but after reading some posts here, I think I need to start getting on certain things asap! The one thing I already have is my dress. I bought it on a whim and I’m kind of having second thoughts, but I’m hoping all that will vanish once I see the dress on me i my size. I’m going to start actively looking at invitations within the next month so that I could start sending them out in early September. Thanks Michele for starting this thread. It’s good to see how everyone is handling their weddings. Cheers!
