    So we got some real quick responses from Tiara there about two weeks ago and now nothing since then. Anyone else finding it hard to get a hold of her lately or should we email her again. I know before that it was usually a week and we would hear back. The question I had for her was about the beach recpetion you have to do a buffet and we were wodnering if there was pictures of how it would be set up.... And whether or not the food was on the beach which I assume it would be.

    Thanks, Lizzy. Hopefully everything works out for you. Our wedding is at the beginning of May so we will post our experience when we get back.

    We herad from one TA that it was 3 hrs too... So the fiance called the resort and they said 1hr and 45 mins from punta cana. I think it all depends on if you stop for beer or not.

    Well maybe if you guys were to say something but I would kind of feel rude saying I refered a number of people to you so what can you do for me... It's all good either way don't mind helping where I can.

    Has anyone done a beach recpetion at Dreams La Romana I know that you can have them there and Tiara has sent me the price list it ranges from 40-50 pp plus 3/pp for alcohol so I thought it was pretty good price wise but just wondering how the set up works?

    Has anyone done the beach recpetion? We have been talking to Tiara and it has to be a buffet which is fine but were looking for some pictures to see what it looked like.... Any info would be great.

    amygirl we booked hdc photo for La romana in May and he is not charging us extra to come to La Romana you may want to look at his work because he's prices are very reasonable compared to the other ones I have looked into and his work looks great.     We booked HDC and have never herad anything bad about them. Never herad of Punta Cana Video.

    I spoke with the TA and she had contacted Sunwing and all is good so far and the reason that it got CXL was maybe not enough people. We have about 30 people on our flight so hopully it wont be a problem. Yeah we got the 13th person free so myself and my fiance got to go for free + the taxesw about 250.00 each...not bad!!

    Has anyone seens pictures or if it is even an option to have the wedding on the beach? Also we tried asking Tiara about a beach dinner/reception but like KPEG she just dodged some of our questions and that was one of them. Any pics?

    when in May did it get cancelled? and where were they leaveing from?? We leave on the 2nd of May 2010 and everyone is booked on sunwing. I think I may need to contact the TA!! Thanks for the heads up.

    well that makes me nervous about maybe sunwing going down. But who is she to say that they might go down in the next year?

    Does anyone have any other videos except this one? It is a very nice video but just wanted to see some other examples.

    I think you are alright from what Tiara was saying to us Dolfinluck. It will be nice to arrive there at noon but we have to be at the airport for 4:30am so its going to be a long day. The first day in an all-inclusive is always the worst drinking till you drop lol.

    We are also doing the 1 hr 45 min bus ride we were hoping to fly right into the La Romana but it wasn't an option. It's going to be a shitty drive but I think it will be fine we are going to be arriving in PC at 10am so we get to see some of the country side. You would be fine to arrive on Sunday and have your wedding on wedneday as KPEG said.

    Hey no worries thought it might be a little intrusive... Guess we will be there at the same time. We havent got ours yet and the payment just went on our credit card last week even though we put the depoist down almost a month ago.

    Hi, Has anyone used the above photographer? We are looking around and wondering where are best bang for our buck is. We have also looked into HDC and their prices seem great.

    ridiculous.... We specifically asked our TA do we not need to be there for 3 business days and she said no........ some people piss me off

    Well our Ta said you only need one day in the country.... I hope she is right because we arrive on a sunday and get married on a tues and we have 30 people booked and our depoist down but yet to have a confirmation from tiara.....

    Hi we are getting married on May 4th but something you may or may not know May 5 th is Cinco de Mayo so theres going to be quite the celebration. Thanks for posting those pics haven't seen those yet.
