Ours came to $20 for both, but that is because we are just having the dogs made - not us (we already have a beachy bride and groom cake topper) I paid through Paypal

Does anyone know how many people can be seated at the tables for dinner? We're going through a trial seating plan and we weren't sure of the numbers at each table, and if they are round or rectangle.

 

Also, has anyone heard what colours they have available for chair sashes etc?

This is totally random but FI googled images of ILA today, and to his suprise a picture of the two of us showed up!!

Yes she asked for pictures of both dogs ( I sent her two of each ). She also asked for a picture of our cake topper so they would mesh well. In our cake topper it's a bride and groom laying on the beach, so she suggested to have the dogs laying down beside us

My FI and I have two labs (one yellow and one black) and they are like our kids. We are so bummed they can't be with us in Cuba so we're having custom cake toppers made (it's actually a suprise for my FI).

I have been working with lynnslittlecreations from Ebay and she has been fabulous.

I have table runners as well and was going to use them either way (I'm not sure what restaurant we'll be having dinner at yet, so it could either be square or rectangle tables)

We are flying out of Toronto this May to the Iberostar Laguna Azul and our guests are paying $1290 for the week for a double room.

 

We have a group rate, and have had quite a few comments from people saying the price is too high. We spent months searching and stressing, and finally booked last October.

 

My advice is to just book it. It feels so good to have that part over with, and honestly if people want to come, they will be there no matter what, especially because you have given so much notice.

 

I think many people have an idea of how much it should cost to travel to Cuba - but they don't factor in that with weddings you can't do a last minute deal for a large group, not to mention you want to stay at a nice resort. Good luck and hope that helps!

Welcome to the forum Alicia!! You'll find lots of great info on here..the brides (and grooms) are really helpful :-)

I agree with all of the above posts...your best bet is to research, research and more research. When are you planning on getting married? If it isn't for awhile, than just keep your eye on both and maybe something will jump out at you that you like/don't like.

 

I'm not sure if this would work for you or not, but we also had a really hard time deciding between two resorts as well so I got a few guests to check them both out, and basically 'vote' on which one they would rather stay at. The majority of them did pick the Ib Laguna Azul becasue they all thought how nice it would be to stay somewhere so new.

We went through Factory 21 Ebay to get ours...they were great and Amanda was super sweet and very easy to work with. They come in orders of 50 and it works out to about 1.90 per cup. We paid $97 in total including shipping to Hamilton. Good luck!
