  1. Oh wow! I guess I will just get the smaller bags for those who are traveling to Jamaica with us.

I have a bag of blue mountain blend coffee here that I bought here at T J Maxx but from what I hear the "authentic" great stuff is only found in Jamaica or on the blue mountain website.

    Bummer frown.gif

  2. I've read that Blue Mountain coffee is pretty cheap in Jamaica, and read that brides purchase it there to bring back to the states for their local "receptions". Does anyone know how much small packages cost off the resort? I know it is sold at the giftshops at the hotel, but if I sneak back 75 of these I want a better deal! lol

    Has anyone here done this?

  3. Hi!!

I am getting married in Oct 09'. Staying at Beaches Boscobel for 6 nights, than heading over to Sandals Dunn Falls for 4 nights.

We had originally booked out honeymoon at the Ochos Rios Grande, but after reading reviews here and online, we changed it to the Dunns Falls.

I am a little nervous about the photography there. I hope they get some great shots!

  4. Hi! I am getting married at Beaches Boscobel in October, then honeymooning at the Sandals Ochos Rios. Some of their rules and policies have me stumped. Photography....is it any good? The prices are a little extreme and all I really want is the CD. Does anyone know if just that is allowed? Also...the Reception thing. Since all our guests will be staying at the resort, all their meals are included. So where does the "$75.00 pp reception come inhuh.gif Has anyone just done the cocktail hour and then all went to one of the nicer restraunts as a group for a dinner? What is the difference, really? I am trying to justify the expense for the reception but a having a problem.

Does anyone know if there is a garden or walkway are at Beaches Boscobel with the ocean in the backround? I am not too sure about the arizona gazebo since I think it will block out a lot of light and natural beauty. But...I don't actually want to be standing in the sand either. From the photos I've seen, their wedding gazebo is surounded by buildings.

Any suggestions? My dream has always been to be married with the ocean in the backround, with beautiful picctures,,,,but wow is the cost adding up!!!

  5. I am so sorry you had to go through that.....whenever I have a problem anwhere, I ask for a manager. That always helps. Have you tried calling their corporate offices to complain? I just ordered my dress from DB even though they had my size/dress on the rack. I have to say,, out of the 4 bridal stores I hit that day, they were the nicest and most helpful even though they were very busy.

I hope this can get straigtened out for you

P.S I am sure a lot of us would love to have the dillema of choosing between a size 0 or 2!!! Lucky girl!

  6. Hi Ladies,

Wow, I am so happy to have found this site. My wedding is booked in Beaches Boscobel, Jamaica for Oct 10 2009. I am a nervous wreck! If any of you have gotten married and would like to share some photos or tips, please contact me!!

We only have about 8-10 family members traveling with us, then when we come back we are having a big dinner in a restaraunt for about 80.

    Michelle
