We went out to the walk way between the water streams and had our first dance. When you get there ask the wedding coordinators and they will let you know. There was another girl getting married after me and she did the same thing. She burned songs for her ceremony then another cd for her first dance. The wedding coordinator will hand it to the band so you can have your first dance.

Everyone just took pictures to I had to ask for them on a cd when we came back. We didn't have a reception; after we got married we went to La Vaqueria to eat. Hello All Future Brides. Just wanted to let everyone know I was married at GRP on June 20th and I absolutely loved it!! The only thing I would change was taking pictures after the wedding outside of the gazebo. All of our photos came out with the shadows of the gazebo and I will need to use photoshop on all of them just to fix it. I had about 40 guests at my wedding and everyone really enjoyed themselves. This is a great resort if you have kids; they have a kids club which is great. None of the kids wanted to leave! This was a well needed vacation and we plan on returning very soon. Of course we went when the swine flu was going on so we basically had the resort to ourselves! So that was a plus!

I just want everyone to know that I am in the same situation. I am a very stressful person to begin with, so this is really taking a toll on me. If it's not the drug cartels it's the flu, then an earthquake. I am trying to keep my chin up and act like everything is okay. Unless they issue a ban on traveling to Mexico I am up for it. My dream has always been to be married somewhere beautiful on a beach, like the corona commercials. All we can do is pray and hope everything will turn out okay, it's in Gods hands!

I am getting married at GRP on June 20th, 2009. Can someone help me with reception ideas?? I don't want to pay for the beach thing; too much money per person. I would like to have my first dance then dance to some music. I booked the vow rennewal and I guess I will pay extra for the cake. Does anyone know where they are going to get their hair and make-up done? Any suggestions on photography?? Sorry for all the questions, just very nervous!!

nscheatham, I too am getting married in June 09 at GRP. What did you decide to do for your reception? I really do not want to pay $80 per person for a beach party. Any suggestions?
