"4.5 month- discover the BDW forum and have minor panic attack due to other brides preparedness, get e-pics taken" me too.. I felt a little overwhelmed, bc I felt as though everyone was well into their planning, and I was not. That is why I wanted to start a "list" to help myself and to help others!

Planning A Destination Wedding Within A Year 12 Months before- Informed everyone it would be a destination wedding, began searching for “the” dress (&possibly order it) 8-10mths before: Confirmed the date and time with the resort, Sent Out STDS, ordered dress 6-7 Months before- Got my dress, Worked on formal invites, ordered bridesmaid dresses 4-5 months before- Sent out invitations, get FI and groomsmen attire 3 Months before- Get OOT bags and legal documents together, Emailed resort to start setting up private reception and other wedding details. 1 Month before- Have hair and makeup trial (mom and BM doing these for me) THANKS GIRLS! THIS IS USEFUL INFORMATION..if anyone would like to add please do!

I think we should start a list of what we all "think" we need to do in order to plan our wedding.. Like how many months before we should be doing so and so.. For me: About a year until my wedding- I sent out Save The dates About a year until my weddingl- I began looking for my dress. It takes approx. 6 months to come in Hoping to send out my invitations about 7 months before Booking appointments etc.. How long in advance you think we need..I know we do not receive our WC until 4 months before, but what can we do until then? I hope you girls don't think I am crazy... =) Like to know what you ladies are up to now!

Finally some honeymoon answers!! I was thinking about staying at Excellence Playa or Maroma beach or Secrets Maroma. We are also planning on staying at the other resort for 5 days as well. Aventura Spa was gorgeous, but it had no beach. I am not sure if someone had said they were staying there, but I wanted to let them know. Sand Ceremony.. I saw pictures of someone using shells...Did they use it to scoop the sand? Or did they have it as the base of the vase? SPA- do you know if they do waxing? A little annoyed at some of my friends right now.. Not sure how to handle it... Jodimichelle!

Sorry for so many posts! I love the idea for the sand ceremony! I think it makes sense. I think I might make my own decal for a specific vase and buy sand on my own! IDK.. I wil figure it out! TO ALL: WHERE ARE YOU GOING FOR YOUR HONEYMOON

haha I believe STD's everywhere are Sexually Transmitted Diseases! When I first read that I thought it was strange too! I sent out my STD's in July which will make it a year before. I should have done what Vgirl did and send out two cards, but it was a little expensive to send one, so I did not want to send too. I did save money on my STD's bc my fiance did it for us!
