  1. This can all depend on a persons taste but my wedding planner has said most of his clients have preferred the Dreams Section. It is the newer section and the area in which they will ask you if you ant to pay to upgrade when you check in. The rooms are more modern and situated closer to the pool. People tho have compained that the Dreams section is more noisy as you hear people in the pools and the noise of the restaurants. I have booked the Honeymoon Suite in the Dreams Section. Other brides can give you their opinions of course. www.tripadvisor has tons of reviews and mostly all of them have said the Dreams Section is better. The other section has older rooms but more of an authentic Mexican feel.

  6. I am getting married on 2/23/09 and I just rec'd an email from Landy and Anabel last week with some forms they wanted me to fill out. So no worries. Like Sunbride said they have it all down to a science and you meet with them when you arrive and finalize. The forms they sent me asked questions like: Wedding Package? Flower choices, cake, # of people, etc. Sent an additioanl form on my guests asking for arrival/departure info. I can send the form to you if you want.
  7. Anabel told me their was no charge for wait staff. The usually place the hors d’oeuvres on a table during the 1 hr cocktail reception but waiters go back and forth to get drinks for everyone. Anabel told me I could even ask them to do a signature drink.
  8. Yeah Jennifer from the spa just sent me an "nice" email telling me that my discount wasn't for other brides. I purchased 6 couples massages and 2 seaweed body wraps for my guests. I was going to do an excursion for everyone but decided not to take them off the resort - some of them are only staying a few days. So I bouth the spa services instead. Sorry- but good that they will extend the 15 %

  14. Thanks for the wElcome everyone. Yes I have booked the Dreams Tulum Resort and will be married on 2/23/09 at 4pm. I chose the Dreams Ultimate Wedding Package and have 18 people joining my fiance and I. I am in the process of emailing the coordinators and there has been lots of back and forth but no real answers on flower choices to inccoperate my colors. I wanted information on fire dancers for the reception, I also want to purchase couple massages for my guests. Anabel is very nice when she emails me but isnt really answering all my questions.
