Mary, have you heard from any of the coordinator yet. They can do this I believe as long as you do one of the private dinners, it will cost you though. I have seen a picture of a reception set up on the beach, it was beautiful. have you looked at the forum for the dreams resort itself, there a gal there with lots of photos and info. she has also been helpful in talking to the resorts for brides and getting answers. I also know that they usually take 3 weeks to respond to anything and sometimes the answer isn't what you are even asking about or it is a generic message.

we are doing a sand ceremony that will be added to the ceremony but still doing the traditional vows. I am suprised he wants to do his own vows. what a guy. mine likes things so simple like most men.

welcome aboard, We choose a travel local to us that supposedly specializes in destination weddings, but I feel that we chose something other than what she recommended we aren't getting the same treatment, also our guests found arrangements on there own and I think that pissed her off. but her prices actually were more.

we are keeping it simple with the ahr, doing hors dorves for the first hour then dancing to a dj, we do plan to do a cake at this also, not sure as to a toast or anything like that.

as for the invites I like the idea of an announcement/invite but we won't have any wedding photos to use as we are having ours pretty close to coming home.

I hope you can fight it. The resort we picked states that the prices for 2009 weren't set when we booked so they could increase our price without notice. They did respond on there own forum the prices will be same as 2008 and don't anticipate a change in prices.

Vegas must have been a blast. I am glad that you are not so stressed now. The talking will get better as it usually rough to adjust to the idea of changes in the planning. Just remember that this your day and do what you feel is right for you and your fiance.

I agree with asking for a price break especially as it should have checked before sending out. If they dress shop can't help I would be calling the manufacturer myself.

I have about 40lb to go for april. I am working my sil's cousin who is a personal trainer. but today is killing me with all the left over halloween candy.

for thanksgiving i am going to FSIL's house that makes it easy I wont pick at too much there, xmas I don't know.

so far I had lost 6 lbs at first weigh in, then second weigh in I gained about 2 lbs back.

but I am back at it

I think it is great, and it doesn't matter if it is "beachy". the dress is definitely gorgeous on you

I would be too afraid also to ship, I have seen too many packages show up in tatters.

we are having a tough time deciding also. my FSIL used the song I would have pick for her wedding, by carrie underwood, inside your heaven. I liked it because he would come over when we first dating and watch idol together and she won that year with that song and it is a beautiful song.

My friend found for me, "all my life" by Jo-Jo and K-Ci. I really like the lyrics to that one.

thanks for the review, I too found that snapfish had lines in the pics. I had to return over 700 pics from our last cruise. they were good about it but I definitely didn't like the quality
