  3. Im not sure about the cottage cheese and olives in the chicken...do you guys think that would be good?
  4. Hey everyone, I can't decide which option for dinner to go with. We will have a vegetarian option (which will most likely be pasta of some type) for those who don't eat pork or meat. Option #1: Stuffed chicken breast with cottage cheese, sun dried tomatoes and olives, accompanied by potato gratin and mixed vegetables. Option #2: Pork tenderloin with bell pepper pesto crust, roasted endive and corn cakes. Vote for which one you think is best! Thanks

I know what you mean about going with the safest option....Im just not sure about the cottage cheese and olives in the chicken....that doesnt seem like something everyone would love...I dont know. Honestly, neither of the options seem super appealing to me lol. That's why im having such a hard time deciding.
  6. Kittenheart, I think you can mix and match. I asked Tiffany today if I could mix some of the stuff from Menu 1 together, and she said that was fine. Thanks so far for the opinions on the menu! Please let me know your opinion if you haven't already!

  8. LOL, ya, thats a good question! They are grabbing our money at every chance they get! I'm trying to decide what to do for our menu options. I am either going with Menu 1A or Menu 1B. Does anyone have any thoughts on what they think would be better, or for those who have already gotten married, what are your thoughts on the menu?
  9. You could put bows on them, or you could hang some flowers on the sides of the chairs that go along the aisle, maybe decorate the chairs with ivy?
  10. Nikki, I just received the invitation for the bridal shower and realized that it is specifically for Karisma brides. When I went last year, it was for all brides, so maybe it will be more helpful since it will be geared to the resort we are going to.

I'm not sure if I'm going yet. I didn't know how well worth my while it would be and I have no one to go with lol. They say grooms welcome but I can just see FI sitting there rolling his eyes and huffing..... so yeah bringing him isn't an option! What's it all about anyhow? Hey Nikki, I actually didn't find the bridal show to helpful. They had a lady there who does make up, so if you want to pay to bring her to your wedding you can, they had a lady who makes silk flowers, did a little fashion show with some wedding dresses (i personally didnt like them too much). It wouldnt hurt to go, but I didnt get a ton of info.

Yeah maybe. tiffany originally told me it would be $100-150 per sheet. That was before I told her the colours. After I decided on colours, she came back to me with the quote of $150 for both sheets...maybe it is the colours i'm using that make it a bit cheaper? Not sure.
  13. Sorry, another post lol. I had so much to say as I was reading through the last 3 pages of posts and couldnt remember everything to say in one. Nikki, I went to one of the bridal showers last year. When is it this year? It would be nice to meet you so if you are going I just might. Katie, I agree with everyone else about your dress. My dress is even poofier than yours!! I had in mind getting a really slim fitting dress, but the princess one just suited me better. I wouldnt be concerned about it....as long as you love it!
  14. Katken, Thanks for your thoughts about setting up. For all of you brides wondering about fabric, I have gotten some info from Tiffany. Like someone else mentioned, it is $100 -150 for each piece of fabric, however, Tiffany told me I can get 2 pieces (green and turquoise) for a total of $150 which is better. I also asked her about bringing our own fabric for us to set up ourselves, and what the dimensions are. Here is her response : "Unfortunately, you will not be able to assist with the set up of the ceremony location. You can bring the fabric with you but there will be a set up charge of $100. The length of the fabric is 3 meters which comes out to around 9 feet. " To me, that seems like a rip off as well. If you purchase your own fabric, you still have to pay them $100 to set it up for you. I have decided to get the 2 sheets of fabric from them for $150.
