Hi Everyone, Yamille, we had the high tables too, although most of the folks ended up going to the regular tables w/ their apps and drinks---but the high tables looked good . Kate, The pictures are just amazing-you and Bill are such a beautiful couple! I love Elizabeth's work--the pictures seem to tell the story of the day-I feel like I was a guest! I'm next on her list (got married right after you in Riviera Maya) and am just bursting w/ anticipation for the pics! You must be so thrilled w/ them. Question: did you have to paste the link to photobucket, or just rename the link Elizabeth gave you (I'm technologically behind!). Congratulations to you both again, and a lifetime of happiness!

That's great Yamille- you will have a wonderful time! Just an fyi, they have brand new gorgeous (and smooth) wood for the entire terrace floor- they were finishing replacing the final part by the snack bar when we were there .

I LOVED having the dance floor on the beach, but we were a large party (76), and had jewish hora dancing (w/ me and DH raised in chairs), and I thought we might hit our heads on the terrace ceiling if we had dancing on the terrace (I didn't want to be a youtube wedding disaster video!). For a smaller party, the terrace is plenty big enough. It just depends if you want to dance on the beach (which you could do w/o a dance floor in theory too!)

I just got back from our wedding and honeymoon. Carlos was the dj at our wedding and he was WONDERFUL to work with! He was super responsive via email and we met a few days before the wedding to go over the details. I gave him the "must play" songs, the "no" list and the style of music we liked. The music he played was perfect. We also rented a dance floor thru him for the beach and he provided the lighting- which was gorgeous. As soon as I get a good picture of it, I will post. IOn top of all that, he is so nice! I highly recommend him .

I HIGHLY recommend Carlos of Mannia Cancun for a dj- he is awesome!!! Lots of BDW's have used him, and I believe w/ the same feeling.

Hi Everybody, DH and I are back from our honeymoon! I hope to post a full review this weekend (three days long- whoohoo!), but just know that the wedding was wonderful- everything we'd hoped for, including our good fortune of fabulous weather! All of our guests loved the resort and are still leaving us messages about how great it was. I do have to give a special shout out now to our dj, Carlos of Mannia- he was FABULOUS! He played great music, did gorgeous lighting for our beach dance floor, was super responsive, and was sooo nice on top of it all! I should get my pro pics by the end of the month (we are so excited, Elizabeth!), but in the meantime, here is a link to nonpropics, which a friend of mine took. I just heard from Perla yesterday- she has been sick this past week. She usually responds to emails within a day or so, and is WONDERFUL in person. Hope this helps.

QUESTION re: TIPPING: Do we tip the wedding coordinator at the resort after the wedding? If so, what is the right %?

Wow, so much has gone on- Congrats to Kate and Nicole!- and Kelly, have a wonderful time- I'm bummed we will just miss each other! I know it will be amazing for you. I've finished most of my list- had to just get heads down and do it, and not even take the time to post on this site (has anyone else had problems logging on- i.e. during high traffic times, it takes a LONG time). The good news is (exhale), other than emailing music to the dj, which I hope to do tomorrow, and packing, it's all done! Now, I just have to work out for two weeks . The only bummer is, unless the excitement of the trip changes things, I'm due to get my monthly friend ON MY WEDDING DAY- oh well, I guess I'll just deal w/ it (just hope I don't fall asleep at the reception!).

ToBeMitchell, I ordered my circle labels online from worldlabel.com- you can get them in different sizes. I know some people bought regular label sheets and used a round fiskar hole punch to cut the circles out. Hope this helps!
