  1. Hey! We only had 9 people travel with us to our wedding in Jamaica. Our ceremony was at 400pm, we had champagne toast with everyone on the beach, did some pictures, then headed up to the lobby piano bar for drinks prior to the reception. Our reception was just dinner at one of the al a carte restaurants -- nothing fancy. I did bring our Bose docking station for my iPod, because I wanted tunes for dinner. We did an informal cake cutting and after dinner some of us went for an alcohol-induced swim in the Caribbean Sea -- myself included. After that I changed into more comfortable clothes and we went to the bar and took in whatever entertainment the resort offered. We had a great time. Do what works for you and your wedding group and good luck!

  2. One of my friends told me she wouldn't be able to make our buck n' doe because she wouldn't be able to find a babysitter for her 2 year old in time. She told me that in September -- our buck n' doe was the end of February. I told her I found it very hard to believe that she wouldn't be able to get someone to watch him with 5 months notice. She's an idiot.

Another friend said she couldn't afford to come to our wedding in Jamaica, but I found out she could afford to fly to Ireland and f*ck around over there for 2 or 3 weeks. Niiiccce. Happens to all of us!

  3. The whole Izzy leaving Alex thing still bugs me (yeah I know its only a TV show) but it was just bizarre the way she left. I can take her or leave her really. I used to like her at the very beginning, but .. meh. I'm still mad George left. I totally agree with Christa-Lee and Diva -- not digging Callie as a lesbian. Her and McSteamy (love him, but I'm biased because we have the same last name!) totally hook back up, especially now since Arizona doesn't want to have kids. Although, I did like Little Grey and McSteamy.... wow I get waaayy too wrapped up in this show!!

My thoughts exactly! Good for Ricky. The world already knew and got over it in 1998. He's still pretty easy on the eyes, but I like my men a little more "manly" and a little less man-scaped. Not sure if my DH even knows what "man-scaping" is... lol

I'm very excited to have little one's x2 that look like me! Haha. I always wanted to be a twin. Hopefully I can carry these 2 to term without too many issues. Bedrest in the summer would BLOW. My DD is October 22, but I read that full term for twins is 37 weeks and most OB's will induce prior to 38 weeks. That would put me at the beginning of October. Seems like soooo far away right now.

Luckly, Matt falls asleep by 7:30/8:00, so I have some time to relax and rest because he won't wake up until 7 am.

I went to my first appt yesterday, but it was only for medical history questions and blood/urine testing. They set up my appt already for when I find out the gender- 6/7, so excited! I go in two weeks for my first real appt with the OBGYN. I hope I get to see/hear the heartbeat, that was always my favorite part!

How's everyone else doing and feeling?
Sorry you're feeling so crappy!! I haven't been eating much lately though and the things I want to eat are just weird. Like the other day, I made DH and I this big grilled chicken, salad yummy looking dinner -- all I ended up eating was a baked potato and some strawberries. That's pretty much all I feel like eating for tonight's dinner too!

I don't have much morning sickness, but today I didn't get out of bed until 100pm. I felt a little bit ill this morning when I originally woke up, but it's the overwhelming exhaustion that is driving me nuts. I can barely function. It's a good thing I haven't had to work much lately -- work would kill me this week.

I went to see my GP yesterday. OB appt. isn't until May however my GP said that will likely be earlier b/c of the twins thing now. We have our 18 week u/s May 26. We originally weren't going to find out what we are having, but I think we've had enough surprises so far I don't need a big one at the end! I'm hoping for boys! Oh yeah and from the first u/s we found out that the twins are more than likely identical! I don't get to hear the heartbeats for another month at my next appt. That being said I work in ER so I'll just grab the doppler and try to find them myself in a couple weeks. :)

Glad things are going well Mrs. Martin... minus the "all day sickness"!
