I'll post a blog with oodles of pictures next weekend. Anyway, from a vendor perspective she was great to work with. You might ask her for some referrals ... I know the bride and groom from last Saturday would probably give her a very good review and I'm sure she has others she could send you to give you a better feel . Oh ... weird. I just realized you posted about this a gillion years ago! Well, hopefully it helps someone else, if they are interested in her!

I'm not sure what that is? Is that a new salon in town?? Where did you hear about it? Do you know where it's located? If I have a little more info, I can do some investigation ... we're a small town, so not much gets by us .
  11. I was really surprised to hear that brides go to L'ococco. We know that salon around here as a styling school. Anyway, I thought I would make two other suggestions for ya'all. 1. Sebastian Hair Salon - they do a great job and they have a fairly large team of people - the only problem with them is they get booked a few months (normally) in advance. I found a little blurb on them here: Sebastian Hair Salon 2. Elle Salon. 138 Rodolfo Gomez. 322-223-2760. [email protected] (ask for Raquel - she's the owner). I go to Elle for my toes (my hubby is a stylist so he does my hair - I know, lucky me!), but I know that a lot of brides do show-up there for their hair/make-up. Both of the salons offer packages for hair tests as well as hair on the big day along with pedis and manis. Hope that's helpful!!

We actually came to Vallarta on our honeymoon before we moved here and our photographer took some photos of us around the church ... love them!
  13. Yes, that's him!! I think he's pretty good. He use to own a recording studio and had several upcoming artists signed-on but that fizzled somehow. I have never seen live music in the Virgin de Guadalupe church (I think that's what you mean by cathedral ... the big church downtown? and I thought that you couldn't have music - but I'm not a coordinator, so I don't really know. One thing you should know about the churches here (in case you haven't already read a post about it), is that services are booked back to back to back and turn-around time is FAST. It's not like in the States when you get a church and it's yours for the day.

  15. There use to be one Spanish guitarist in vallarta ... his name was Rigo and his phone number was 044-322-297-4289. But I'm not sure if he's around anymore.
  16. Hi everybody! I just wanted to introduce us to the thread - we are a wedding design team based out of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. In the past we have worked with only one coordinator, but now we are on our own and available to design and create anyone's wedding! What a lot of you may not know is that here in Vallarta we do not have access to many of things you have access to in the States and Canada (and beyond!), so many of the things you'll see in our website gallery are hand-made and hand-detailed. We love what we do and our proud of our work, so please check us out! Puerto Vallarta Wedding Planners :: Bodas en Puerto Vallarta AND, if you have ANY questions about getting married in Vallarta, please don't hesitate to ask me. I don't find them bothersome at all and will do my best to give you an honest answer from my perspective. Congratulations on your upcoming weddings!!!
