There's no law that says the BM dresses have to be identical. They don't even have to be in the same colour family! As long as the girls love them and you love them, the fact that they're the same colour is simply a bonus. Lots of brides are ditching the "matchy matchy" stuff and making up their own rules, so go ahead and be a rebel! 

I'm not loving the shell, but the rest is beautiful.

Congrats! The dress looks great on you and now you can scratch one more item off your to-do list!

If #2 or #3 are one of your theme colours, I would go with either of those. However, if you still want to keep it "bridey", #1 is your best option.

I'm in the 'no shorts' camp too. I have no issue with not wearing a suit, but linen pants and shirt are a great compromise and look nice in the pictures.

I would keep some mementoes (like one of your wedding favours, a travel mug or two, your cake topper, etc.). I have a dress box that I put a few other mementoes in and although I still have my dress, I'm not emotionally attached to it and may sell or donate it. I think the important thing is to let go of the decorative stuff, as you probably have plenty of plenty of pictures of the decor and you don't need it clogging up your space.

And who said miracles don't happen, lol! It sounds like your mom has either had an epiphany, or may-be someone tipped her off that she was hurting you with her behaviour? Either way, the end result is she's acknowledging that she is difficult, and that's a big step right there.
