  1. Congrats and welcome Beach Bride. Ok, did I miss something? Are you expecting too Carly? Congrats to you if you are. Kelly, how did your appt go? Hope everyone is doing well.
  2. Hello ladies, hope everyone is doing well. Well, I got back from my appt not too long ago and I am SOOOOOOOO HAPPY that she decided to turn. So she is now head down. I will be induced on the 29th so I have 2 weeks left. YAY!!!!!
  3. Mrs. Martin, from what I remember the mucus plug looks like a thick snotty glob. When you lose it you will know. It looks totally different from discharge. It's a little gross. I didn't lose mine with my son but with my daughter I lost mine all at once and had her a couple of weeks later, but some do lose it gradually. I registered for one from Chicco and it seemed to be just fine for my height. Kelly- This may sound like a stupid question considering I'm a few weeks away from having a baby and I should know this by now, but what does the plug look like? Is it obvious when it falls out? I also heard some women lose it gradually, not all at once. Is that true? I know what it is, I'm just not sure I would be able to identify it considering you tend to discharge a lot when pregnant.
  4. I can tell by the hiccups, and I have a heart listener and the only place that I can hear her heartbeat is at the top of my stomach. I've tried many position and she isn't budging. I'm kinda just giving up on turning her because she's getting bigger as the weeks go by and my doc told me there is really only a 10% chance she will turn. So I may just settle with the c-section on the 29th. You may still have some time to turn your LO. Quote: Originally Posted by Tlseege Oh Angel, I'm sorry. 5. Hello ladies, hope everyone is doing well. I don't do too much complaining but I guess it's my time. Sorry in advance!!!! Well I just got back from my appt and my homegirl is still BREECH. I am beyond disappointed. I've been crying ever since she told me. So of course she's scheduling a c-section in 3 weeks. There is only a 10% chance she will turn so I'm giving it all my hope and doing everything I can do. I go back next Monday to see if she is still breech, if she isn't then they will induce me at 37 weeks so I can have my natural birth like I planned. It's upsetting because it seems like when I plan for things it goes the complete opposite. (sigh) Ok, enough of my drama. How is everyone else doing?
  6. Everyone has gorgeous rings on here!!! I love looking through this thread. Christie yours is similar to mine. Mine has a double band as well and I got an enhancer to go around it. I can't wait until next year to be able to wear the band -- sometimes I am sneaky and try it on with my e-ring when my FI is at work! Naughty, I know, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do! Congrats to all! ~ Christie
  7. You look great Bisha!!!! They turned out great!!!
  8. Congrats Bisha, Gavin is adorable!!!!! Hey ladies!!!!! Hope everybody and their LO's are doing well. I've been so busy since I stopped working last week. It's like I've been doing something everyday. But my son is loving it, he gets to hang with mommy all day. I had my babyshower last sunday and we got everything we needed. I'll post pics when I upload them on my computer. We actually had to take a couple of things back because we got duplicates. So we are all set, and we didn't even buy anything except my breast pads and cream. Of course I wanted to buy some clothes but she has soooooo much I didn't want to waste money. I went for my appt the other day and realized she is now in a breech position, she was head down 2 weeks ago so she managed to turn. I'm a little bummed so I'm doing whatever I can to turn her. If she's still breech by my next appt they will discuss my options. In other words, the easiest thing for them to do would be a c-section. Well that's the latest on me.
  9. Has everyone received their BRU coupon book in the mail? Just checking in case anyone needs to do some shopping. There's some good coupons in there. There are good from May 8-28th.
  10. Hey ladies, hope everyone is doing well. I've been hanging in there, just a lot of back problems. A month and a half of work left and then I'll be able to rest a little before she comes. If she doesn't decide to come early. Then I'll be starting my new adventure in being a SAHM. I don't know how I'm going to adapt to that. I think I'm going to be bored when my older ones start school. I guess I'll manage. Bisha, I love the baby's room. It is too cute. Your crib looks like one of the cribs we were thinking about getting. Well I hope everyone is doing well. Everybody enjoy the rest of the week!!!!
  11. Just checking in on everybody to see how they are doing. Hope everyone is well. Congrats Andrea!!!!!
  12. You just use it like it's toothpaste. And I usually use it about one week out of the month.
  13. The best thing that I like to use is Baking Soda and Peroxide. Mix it like a paste and use it for about a week and you can see the difference. I've been doing it forever!!!! Works wonders!!
  14. WOW, those are HOT!!!!!!! You look gorgeous!
  15. Oh, and I had my surgery yesterday. My doctor knew I wanted it removed so she scheduled it for yesterday. It went well, my arm is just killing me. It feels like I've been lifting weights all day. It aches so bad. I'm suppose to take this bandage off this morning but I'm scared to even look at it. But anyway, enough about me. have a good day ladies!!!
  16. Bisha, you have a cute bump, not too much longer to go. And Jenn you don't have much longer for your wedding. You must be excited!!!!!!! Kelly, now you know you have to show off that bump, c'mon girl!!!!! If I showed mine in my cami, boyshorts AND no makeup you can show yours. Hope everyone else is doing well.
  17. Thank you ladies. Congrats Jenn!!!!!!
  18. Hey DMV brides!!!!! I went to the ROTB last summer in Mazza Gallerie and it was so much fun. If any of you ladies ever get the chance to go, take advantage of it. It was worth it for me because I found my dress. Congrats and good luck to all of you ladies!!!!
  19. Ok ladies, here I am today at 27 weeks. I tried not to scare you too much.
  20. You have a cute bump Mrs. Martin. Your 22 week bump looks like mine when I was 15 weeks. LOL!!!! This is my 3rd though. And I feel you Andrea, I thickened out before I got a bump. I would post mine but I may scare everybody because I got a BIG bump. I'll see how I'm feeling when I get home from the doctors.
  21. Hey ladies, glad to hear everyone is doing well!! I'm doing my glucose thing this evening so I'm hoping everything turns out well. I am officially waddling. I'm only 5'1" and all belly so it's a tad uncomfortable. I only have 3 more months left and I have so much to do. I can't even decide on baby bedding it's so frustrating. My little one hasn't been kicking like she has been. Just kicks every now and then. It freaks me out a little but I usually drink ice cold water and then she starts up. I agree, I want to see everybody's bumps.
  22. OMG!!!! Wow, you ladies are a lot further with the nursery than I am. I called my dad today so he's going to help me with the mural and then paint. I have resisted the urge to buy stuff for the baby because we are having a big baby shower next month. But we did get our first baby gift the other day. We got these cute little baby socks, a frame and a onsie that says "Someone at the Pentagon loves me." A coworker that works with my husband at the Pentagon gave it to us. I can't wait for all the baby stuff. I forgot how exciting it is.
  23. Congrats and good luck Andrea!!!!!! And Kelly I know the pain you are talking about. It usually only happens to me if I've been laying down for a long period of time, and as soon as I put my foot on the floor and put weight on it the pain is unbearable. It's terrible!!!!!!! Well I go in for surgery on the 15th to have this lump removed under my arm. I'm glad I'm finally getting it removed. I know it may be too early for some but does anyone have nursery ideas? Well for me, my daughter is a little too old to share a room with her little brother so the baby and my little boy has to share a room for now since we only have 3 bedrooms upstairs. So we're going to do neutral colors and I'm getting a Winnie the Pooh crib and bedding and I'll draw the characters on the wall. He's 4 so I don't think he's too old for Pooh. I don't want my son in a room full of pink. KWIM I'm sketching out my ideas now so I can get an idea of what I want it to look like. And then after that I know my daughter is going to want hers done too so I'm working on that as well. So much to do.
