I replied to you in the Dreams Cancun thread too but here is what I said, hope it helps... Not at all a silly question and it is a little confusing. If you chose to have your legal ceremony at DC you will need to have your documents apostilled. What this means is that your State certifies that it is an original document. They basically verify that the person who signed it is legitimate and all. I tried looking it up for Fredericton NB but didnt have any immediate luck. Do you have anything equivalent to a Secretary of State department? Thats who did it for me. Check out this site about the apostille in Canada, it may help... Deciding between the ocean and dolphin view in the pyramid building, the junior jacuzzi suite, and the ocean view in the club tower? is the club tower worth staying at because of the private beach and pool? also, have been looking at photographers and really like Diego from Sol photography. Has anyone used him before? Welcome and congratulations!!! We stayed in the Presidential Suite in the Pyramid and loved it but if we go back we would stay in the jacuzzi suite in the tower. Some of our friends stayed in that room and the view is breath taking. It does not matter if you stay in the tower or not, everyone can use the pool and beach there. Though it is a lot less crowded. We had Citlalli from Claudia Rodriguez's group for a photographer and loved her and our pics!! Hope this helps a little bit!
  7. Oh Tara, I hate painting once let alone 3 times. What color are you on now?

  9. New job started Monday. Since I had to retire from my love, being a police officer. I decided I still wanted to be in the public service field. So I got hired by an agency who dispatches for 7 area police departments and fire departments.

Where in Arizona are you moving, my Uncle is selling his house in Glendale? I love love love Arizona, can I come visit? Celina, WTF is up with your guests, jerks!!! They deserve coal this Christimas. Sorry I have been absent but I have been sick and I started a new job on Monday, yeah! I hope you all are doing well!

  12. Hey all! Here are a few of my pro pics that we just got in the mail yesteryday. Citlalli from Claudia Rodriguez's group was our photographer. We are so very happy with how they came out! If you have any questions about her please feel free to ask.

Trying to be cheap but not miss out on the key things!! Congratulations yeah!!!! As long as she knows what package you want I dont think there is much else to tell her. What did you mean by you havent told her what you want? Do you mean like specific pics? If thats the case then yeah waiting until you get down there for that is totally cool. DJ wise I paid $1100 for Carlos from Mannia Audio and it was for 5 hours and the illuminated dance floor.

Poor Matthew as well he will be extra hot in his suite. Thanks We had Citlalli and she ruled!! She is suppose to mail my pics this week so hopefully I can share some soon from her. I changed to a sun dress after our special dances and all but it was more because of all of my back problems then heat, although I was hot.
  17. Oh Shelley, how was Dreams Punta Cana? So glad your day was awesome! Congratulations!

I was hoping someone could help me out with some things 1. did you all bring your own give aways?? We too brought our own OOT bags with goodies in them 2. I'm having my reception on the beach as well, was it windy at night?? I'm getting married in April 09 Yes windy but the beauty of the location is worth it to me 3. How was the cake?? I'm getting the ultimate package and it comes with a cake, does anyone have any pics. Cake was good, fed a lot more then it said it would. I had a very simple one that was included with just some flowers on top 4. Any suggestions on how to cut cost by bringing my own decorations or is it not worth it. We didnt do gazebo decorations, felt it was too expensive for such a short amount of time but dont need any other decorations #1 not worth the hassel and #2 it is gorgeous there as is! 5. Was it worth an extra 2000 to bring in Claudia R. for pictures YES YES YES YES!!!! Havent gotten my pics yet but loved the girls and glad we had them for 3 hours 6. did your grooms where a tux or a suite?? did they complain about the heat My DH wore linen pants and a Tommy Bahama shirt and he was VERY appreciative Sorry I know its a ton of questions really Appreciate it Hope this helps!

It appears that you had some extra lights - were those provided by the DJ - or were those an extra charge. Also where is the closest bathroom for guests to use - Is it Seaside Grill or the Tower lobby? Do you know how much extra the dance floor with the lights were? Thanks for all your help - can't wait to see your professional pics! Tina Yes it got pretty dark but because of the DJs (Carlos from Mannia Audio) lights and the dance floor plus the lights under the table it was perfect. The closest bathroom was in the lobby of the Tower. The illuminated dance floor was $350. I dont know if the price is the same but I bet it is pretty close. The tiki torches are a ficture around the resort, they are lighted every night by a guy who blows a konch shell and has a huge flame with him, yikes so those are always there. Hope this helps!! Let me know if you have any other questions.
  21. Danielle, love the stories...especially the peeing in the pool!! That is hilarious!!! Gotta love friends!! and Friends with banana mudslides!

We stayed in the presidential suite in the pyramid, totally awesome and didnt cost much more then the jacuzzi suite. But we visted our friends in the jacuzzi suite and it was very nice and the view was breathtaking...for whatever all thats worth.

I received some info from Gaby - so I know what the packages are, but I'm not sure of the little upgrades (looking at the Ultimate Wedding Package). Can you guys give me an idea of your budgets/upgrades (if you feel comfortable - I understand if you don't!) Thanks!! M Hello M, On our contract Gaby gave us a list of prices The dreams ultimate package is $2650 blood work $330 translation of birth certificates $110 validation of certificates $181.5 renting the sound system for the ceremony at gazebo $198 total: $3469.5 chair bows are extra - not sure on exact price - i know i have it somewhere lights under the tables are extra extra gazebo decor So that is mainly just the basics - about $3500 for the biggest package - don't forget to add in room and airfare as well. Great deal though with everything you get in the package . . . I hope that helps Tina Tina, We did no gazebo decor, it didnt need it and I thought the price was ridiculous for a 20 minute ceremony. I didnt miss it at all. The chair bows were like $3.50 per chair and that is for the use of them at the ceremony and reception. Their is a huge variety of color including animal print for someone to get sassy with. We did the undertable lighting it was about $25 per table and totally worth it. Other then that I didnt really upgrade. Let me know if you have any other questions.

This is the only pic I have of it right now as I am still waiting for the professional pics. We had Carlos and Mannia Audio but I dont think there would have been an extra charge to do it on the beach if we had not hired them. I loved it on the beach and wouldnt have done it any other way!
