  1. We got married at 5PM, during sunset. It was picture perfect, defiantly not as hot as earlier in the day. It gave us time to hang out during the day, get a massage, get ready, etc. We just took pics after the ceremony and then went to the reception after that. Typically if it rains down there, it is just for a short bit
  2. We brought our i-pod & docking station for music. The WC hit stop & play for us during the ceremony and then for our 1st dance during the cocktail reception. Our dinner part of the reception was in the garden and just hit play and let the play list roll through. It was definitely loud enough for everyone to hear. This may vary be resort but I was told that Sandals only provides a stereo for the ceremony. It's the WC's stereo and pretty much doesn't want it to get lost/broken, so you are kinda on your own for anything after the ceremony. That's why we decided to just put everything on the i-pod, was just easier.
  3. Hi ladies, I have not been on here for a while but I was married at Sandals Negril Jamaica in April. We had a fabulous time had everything went fantastic. I remember how hard it was to get a bunch of info/pics about Sandals so I created a bio w/ pics, reviews, etc (link in siggy), plus I wasn't working for 3 months after the wedding with plenty of time on my hands, lol. Feel free to ask any questions. Hope everyone's planning is going well and have a great wknd! Lisa
  4. We did the 3 hour reception and the WC did a wonderful job of making sure that everything flowed and told us where to go, etc.
  5. Thank you so much ladies. Just a bunch of little things to do, like family gifts, pick out readings, etc. We leave in 15 days so I better get my butt in gear. I will definitely bring back a full report.

  9. Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and I was wondering if anyone has had a wedding or planning a wedding at Sandals Negril? I'm almost positive that's where we want to have our wedding, but have not heard from anyone that has gotten married there! I would love to see someone's pics and hear about their experience! Thank you! Lisa
