  1. Welcome Ashley, good luck on the site. You will LOVE it. Gwyne and Mark
  2. This really stinks....but look at the bright side. Tomorrow is National Bosses day so you can always buy her a gift she will never forget. I believe you can find arsenic laced Girl Scout cookies on the net. Just google it. HAHA! kidding but the thought had to entice you just a bit. Gwyne and Mark
  3. Great! Glad I could help. I have not been there for quite a long time but I am sure it hasnt changed much. By the way, if you can avoid the rain, February is a great month to be there. Just keep in mind....if it does rain, be ready with your photog once the rain diminishes...the rainbows after a shower there can be quite breathtaking.
  4. Hey there, welcome to the forum. I cant help you with a wedding coordinator but can help you with just about antything else on Oahu. I grew up there so I know the island pretty well. So if you have any questions about locations, venues, etc...let me know. take care, Mark and Gwyne
  5. Hi MRs B....actually, I am the one who lived in Hawaii (Mark) but it was on Oahu. However, I have been to Molokai a few times. THe north shore is by far the most scenic with some amazing/breathtaking views and sea cliffs. However, if you want privacy or atleast smaller crowds on the beaches, stick to the western side of the island. Papohaku Beach is really a great place for a wedding due to the fact there are not many tourists in that area and the locals do not frequent the beach too often. GOogle it and see what comes up. Good luck! Mark and of course, Gwyne! Our Site

However, on location, we like a bit more so we can do exactly what you requested. Shoot on the beach and then a few spots on the resort. Your photographer should scout the resort prior to the wedding so he/she should know exactly where to go and in what order. Barring any delays, you should be fine with 1-1.5 hours of time after the ceremony to get TONS of beautiful shots. Also keep an open mind to getting back in your dress/tux and have your photog shoot you without a timeline the next day without the stress of getting back to the reception. take care, Gwyne and Mark Our Site

Anyone have suggestions for other locations? and I need a coordinator! Any referrals? Thank you! Hey Jana, we live in Florida now but I grew up in Hawaii. There is a great place there in Kauai thats common for wedding parties and its fabulous. The food is great, prices are fair and the location is wonderful. Sit outside on the patio and you get a beautiful scene right out of a movie. Here is the link. Keoki's Paradise Restaurant and Bar - Poipu Restaurant Good luck! Take Care Gwyne and Mark Our Site
  8. hi, we have shot a few weddings there in the past 2 years and its really an amazing place. Unfortunately it rained so hard the day of our last wedding that the majority of the photographs were indoors or under the gazebo. However, the lobby is gorgeous, the resort itself is so well maintained and pretty private. My wife and I actually thought about taking a vacation there someday so its certainly well worth the money if you ask me. Take care, Gwyne and Mark Our Site
