My wedding is on Friday Octber 12th and I just got an email from her regarding the same thing. She didn't mention any extra costs and my reception is at the Mexican restaurant as well. I'm meeting with her on the 10th to finalize everything. I started to freak out as well but finally just decided to go with the flow. I leave tommorrow for Cabo. I'll keep you guys posted on how it is going with the new coordinator

Hey ladies...can any of you refer me to a hair stylist in Cabo? My wedding is Oct. 12th. My issue is I have really curly hair and need someone who would know how to straighten it for my updo. Any suggestions? I'm getting married at the Riu Palace. I know they have a salon there have any of you used the salon at the Riu. Thanks for the input. Jeanette

Thanks Sara...you are the best with ideas and advice. I'm getting married there in October. As far as decorations for the table what did you do? I was thinking shells but was worried about having to bring them on the plane along with everything else. Do you have pics of your table? Also did you do the bonfire...I was thinking about it but it is $800 and don't know if it is worth the money?

I wonder if it is too late to change to the middle package. As far as music did any of you use the live music? Also any advice on the location of the reception did you use the restaurant or have it privite for the extra fee? All this info is great thanks!

Hello Ladies...I am getting married at the Riu Los Cabos in October. Originally I was planning a small ceremony of about ten people but know it has turned to 30-40. Many of them are not staying at the hotel because it is sold out for that weekend. If any of you have gotten married there I have a few questions because I am the biggest procrastinator and now it is getting close to the deadline. We purchased the most expensive package, however since most people are not staying there is it even worth it. I know we will have to pay extra for the people not staying at the resort. Did any of you experience the same? Also who is the photographer they use? I know one is included but I don't know the name...any suggestions? How is the included cake? Can you upgrade or is it standard.

Has any of you gotten married there or know someone who has recently? I purchased a package but now I have more guests that decided to come last minute. Any advice on what to do with a large group of about 30 people for fun? Do any of you have pics of your wedding. Please help... Jeanette
