  1. Our dog, Mabel, she is about 7 or 8, developed some hot spots on her neck this past week. We are moving and she seems stressed out by all the packing, boxes and change.

I talked to my Vet and their 1st course of action is Steroids which I am not a fan of. My DH did some research and shaved down the spots this morning with clippers, then put an Apple Cider Vinegar and water mixture topically. i also gave her a Benadryl earlier to take the edge off.

She seems to feel a bit better but I am worried about her!

Has anyone else dealt with this? Any natural remedies??

    TIA!

i love the Lucite - it is so different and unique looking! it has been almost a year and it looks amazing! i would still choose it :)

I would rather be inappropriate but discrete and we are registering and plan on returning many of the things for cash instead. I know it is not ideal, and COULD backfire, but I think it's better than asking for money up front.
Tonir, it can totally backfire on you and is really tacky! sorry to be so blunt but gifts are a bonus and not an expectation - there is almost NO way to be discreet about "asking for money".

why not just register at Bed,Bath & Beyond - you can return EVERYTHING there for cash!!!
  4. Kristy - i 2nd that - i used Joy for some of my wedding party gifts and she was so great to work with, her prices are awesome and she just makes it easy!

i have since ordered engagement presents, a custom tote for my business and all kinds of stuff!!!

she is a great vendor :)

Heather - i think its b/c i do wear both a 6.5 and a 7 depending on the shoe / brand. like for instance i always wear a 7 in sneakers and boots but generally a 6.5 in heels, especially open backs.

    ---

autoj - catch the sale! woo-hoo good luck on your lunch break :)
  6. Erika - i just fixed the link. i already have too much booty for the skinny jeans but i agree - they look super cute on the right preggo bodies!

Kat - Ugg's only come in whole sizes so i always get a 7 but i wear a 6.5 to 7 in shoes so i already have some room so i hope i will be OK! :)

  7. OK Girls so i decided to go with the lower ones and i must have the zipper for easy in / easy out.

i love them all but i do prefer the look of the flat top instead of the cushy foot if you KWIM so i went with these...

i had gift cards and since they were on sale at Nordies i got them for practically FREE! woo-hoo

and Erika - THANKS!!!! i don't think i will be wearing any skinny jeans this winter though lol wink.gif

  8. so i just went on Nordstrom's site b/c i have a big gift card so i figured i could get my new Ugg's and they are out of my size in all 3 styles that i would get!!! sad.gif bummer

i mostly wear them with pants / sweats, etc. i wonder if i should go with the shorter ones rather than the tall??

  9. Kate,

i wear them with everything in the winter - they are so comfy!!

and Mo - i don't wear socks - they are so warm you don't need it BUT my feet don't really sweat so i can see what Morgan is saying - that would be gross!

  10. i know there are huge groups of people who hate Uggs so let's acknowledge it and move on LOL! this thread is for all the Ugg-lovers out there smile29.gifhaha!

i love me some Uggs in the winter and just threw out my latest pair b/c they are so worn in they just don't fit right anymore.

i had my eye on these in black

Suburb Crochet Boot by UGG® ? Women?s Suede Sheepskin Boots ? Rich Knit & Suede Uppers ? Genuine Sheepskin Boots ? UGG® Australia

but i started reading the reviews and they "slouch" when they wear in which i don't think i will like.

i am also thinking about these in black

Knightsbridge Boot by UGG® ? Women?s Tall Sheepskin Boots ? Stylish Suede Sheepskin Boots with a Multi-Colored Zipper - Genuine Sheepskin Boots ? UGG® Australia

b/c i <3 the zipper - so much easier on and off.

these are most like the ones i just trashed but they had the zipper on the inside.

soooo, ugg-lovers - what style do you have? what do you like about it? help me decide!!!

  11. We received multiple High-Res CD's totaling with about 1500 pictures. our photogs, Mark and Gwyne Owens took pictures at multiple events (resort, rehearsal, day of for bride, day of for groom, ceremony, reception and TTD)

i am sorry to hear that you hate so many of your photos - i think you should reach out to your photog and see if there was a miscommunication along the way and reitterate taht you expected High-Res, edited pics and also you would like to see the rest (maybe unedited) to determine if you want those or not?

    Tonir,

    Seems extreme compared to what?

this is a FREE forum - maybe you should take the time to read our rules, etiquette and FAQ's before making anymore comments criticizing how and why things are done the way they are.

P.S. not the best way to start "participating"
  13. I am SOOO HAPPY she picked Ed!!! not only is he hot but totally sincere and mature - i think they are great together!

as for Reid - that "come back" was so super lame!!! WTF? did he really think she was going to throw everything to the wind? OMG

P.S. he lives in the same town as me and i know a bunch of people that know him. not going to comment past that but i am glad she didn't pick him!

and Kiptyn - he is going to have 1000 ladies in waiting - he is a true sweetheart but I think Ed is a much better fit!

i hope they work out like Trista and Ryan and there is no drama like stupid Jason! popcorn.gif
