I am sure I missed a thread about this somewhere but just wanted to see if anyone had some ideas for a reception when we returned from Mexico. Did you have a theme or just a basic wedding reception?

I think the Dendrobium orchids would look great. I used to work at a florist as a designer and they are really elegant next to the calla lillies! I remember one that used the whole stem on the outside of the calls and it naturally hung out! Really pretty!

Sorry dont have an answer but had a similar question....maybe they can supply a cylinder type of vase instead of a hurrican style. This way it wouldnt detract from the candles themselves.....just an idea though.

I defiantly want lot of candles as well...very romantic setting.

These are the cutes invitations I have seen. I have to through a bridal shower for a friend of mine and though they wont come out as great as these....its great to see some colorful ones! She would love something like that....you should defiantly sell these if you interested in doing something like that!!

I loved the idea about using the ipod at the reception! I find it overwhelming to pick all the songs and want to see what you think are some must have songs!!!

I have been looking at the Hilton for our wedding and I can see there are quite a few people who have had it there or are going to. Please let me know how things are going. I am trying to schedule a time to go there and they will give you a discounted rate before you sign a contract which is nice.

Do you suggest this type of hotel or the all-inclusive type?
