I'm bumping this again because I'm wanting to put this on my Christmas list.
Kobo with wifi is going for $149.
Bachata did you end up getting one?

Hi, I'm new to this thread too but did use the Clear Blue monitor when I was TTC'ing a few years ago. It worked really well, and always clearly showed when I O'd. Sadly, O'ing is not my issue as I have blocked tubes, but I highly recommend the monitor.Â
Did you buy one yet? I was able to pick up one for super cheap on Ebay. I turned around and resold it for exact same (or maybe more? LOL) that I bought it for.

So glad I just found this thread... read through all 24 pages of it!
My husband and are about to start TTC...
I've already been doing lots of searching online b/c there is SO much I did not know about all of this!
Glad there's a thread here with you gals helping out...the other TTC forums just don't seem as good:-)

I do have a question I didn't see addressed...
Has anyone on here used a fertility monitor...like the ClearBlue Digital Fertility Monitor, or similar...?
Just wondering what your experiences with them have been...
Â
Thanks - and good luck to everyone trying!

FWIW, I don't think Julissa is the official WC anymore. She was when I got married in '08 and just as I was getting married she was training someone else, as she was going to be in charge of conferences. I think she just fills in when the work gets too much.

The family members who can't attend our wedding are starting to question the destination decision.Â
It's not up to your family to question your decision. It's YOUR decision. Don't let family deter your decision to do what's best for you and FI.Â
I would say 80-90% of us have gone through this, so you are SO not alone.

When we had our wedding in '08, the honeymoon suite was cheaper than the junior suite. I would check with your TA to confirm if this is still the case.
-
I definately recommend booking right away. There are only 24 honeymoon suites (I think?) on the whole resort on the Blue and Sand sides. They were completely full when we were there, and there were a few brides that were dissapointed they werent getting a suite, because they had waited.
Â
Remember, for people like DH and I, we were there for 2 weeks, so we hogged the suite the whole time

I had my ceremony at the beach and honestly, yes there was people all around, but I did not care a lick. I only had eyes on my DH and I was so 'in the moment' I didn't see or hear anything going on around me LOL. I even remember being pissed afterwards that DH's best man forgot to put the music on and he's like actually it was on the whole time! haha.

I added my review to the new 'resorts and villas' wiki in case anyone missed it

I can't wait! Looks like it's going to be fantastic!
-
wow, that's lots! LOL. I can't help, we were a rockin group of 10!

For sure book the honeymoon suite. If for nothing else, your guests are a little away from you in another building. I enjoyed that immensely

I will also say, that I just got back from my SIL's wedding at Dreams Punta Cana, and although that resort was really nice, I liked OB way better. The layout is just so much better, with all the restaraunts in one place, and especially the shuttle buggy were definate plusses for OB.

Thanks for those selections I'll check them out. I'm in TO periodically, so I will for sure check them out Cindy!

Mother Nature (and my mother!) blessed/cursed me in the chest department, and I'm at a loss to find bathing suits that offer me the support I need without buying a gigantic bathing suit.
I'm a size 10, but I'm a 36DDD sometimes larger if I gain weight, and I can't be the only one that has had difficulty.
Anyone have any online suggestions or shops? I'm going to PC in April and don't want to give everyone a show.
Thanks!

I don't, sadly! It was a thing I did when I was single and carefree!! DH has no interest in riding, and when we went to buy our house I had to sell her for downpayment money!! I work at a dealership that sells motorcycles though, so I've taken one out here and there, the little Honda CBR125's are fun!
I had a girlfriend that continued on riding and she went up from the 250 to a SV650. Suzuki I'm thinking? Anyway, bigger bike but not as agressive as the sport bikes!
-
cooooool!! What kind of bike do you have! I used to have a baby ninja 250!

or the $500 fine!!

Does anyone remember the kind of soup they served at the japanese restaurant? OMG this was the BEST soup I've ever had, and I'm going to try and find a recipe, but can't for the life of me remember what kind it was. I was just down there in the spring for my SIL's wedding.
THANKS!!!
