Your prayers helped!!!! Thank you to ALL of you for your support! My mom didn't go in until around noon and was in recovery around 5pm. Thank god a biopsy was done! Hopefully the doctor will have some good news tomorrow! Tadd and I visited her tonight and it's amazing what a little dope will do!!!! She is hoping that she will be back on the computer with all of you tomorrow! We hope so too! I might just have to try to get my laptop into the hospital for her...lol! Again, thank you so very much for all of your support! You all have been so incredibly helpful for both me and my mom through the planning of our wedding and now this... YOU GIRLS ROCK!!!! My wedding wouldn't be the same without all of you!!! Thank you for being so good to my mom...she adores every one of you!!! I do too!!!

You are NOT alone!!!! You have found the perfect site!!! We have alot in common... I, too was engaged in December, like you... we both knew it had to be a destination wedding at a hotel that would be small, yet not too expensive, all-inclusine (because we figured it would make everyones life easier) and allow children because we want our nieces and nephews and my fiance's god-son to be there. We have yet to choose our place but are doing so in April when we go down to scout for a weekend. We have narrowed our hotels from 23 down to 7!!!!!!! Look into Dreams Tulum ( find Jason and ask him... he is getting married there), and Azul Beach. Don't fret, the girls on here are soooooo helpful!

Jason, THANK YOU!!!! You must be a foodie! I think that I can assume that Dreams Tulum has great food, too?? It is on our list to visit while visiting. We are going to be up and down the coast, staying at Grand Oasis Riviera maya but planning on spending most of our time outside of the hotel. My fiance is def. not your average gringo! When in Puerto Vallarta this Jan. we went on quite the hike one night to find the perfect hole in the wall and we LOVED it!!! Any suggestions?? THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!!

I love this forum...so much info and so many brides lookin out for eachother. LOVE IT!! My only problem...I can not get on the forum nearly as much as I would like because of the lovely thing called work!! Luckily, my mom joined as well and has been able to fill me in on everything that I am unable to keep up on. She loves it! My Fiance and I along with another couple are scouting the area in April and would love some suggestions as far as where to eat...other than the hotel

Is it at all possible to negotiate with the hotel the number of rooms booked. The hotels want a certain number of the guests attending the wedding to be booked at the hotel. Our guests are all at many different income levels and half of them might have issues with the cost of the rooms. Ideally everyone attending the wedding would stay at the same hotel. It just won't work that way and I am worried that we will not be able to book as many rooms as the hotel expects! What is a bride to do?

Does anyone know if it is possible to have a wedding on the beach at the ruins in Tulum If so, how to go about it?

My fiance and I have our travel agent looking into Dreams Tulum. Why did you decide to go with Dreams? What other resort were you thinking of?? Does it really get easier once you've chosen the resort I HOPE SO!!!!!!!! I am so glad that their is hope!!!

My fiance and I fell in-love with Azul! However, we decided against it for two reasons: 1. The staff was not prompt at getting back to us on numerous occasions and 2. We did not feel comfortable with having our wedding at Azul after reading about it on tripadvisor.com. When we finally sent our last email to inform them of the bad press on tripadvisor.com and explain to them why we were deciding against the hotel AND to hopefully help the staff create a better environment (because the hotel looks AMAZING online) for future guests. A staff member emailed me back and apologized for the recent problems that the hotel had and hoped that we would consider spending an anniversary at the hotel since I explained that we were not willing to take the risk of a bad experience on our wedding day. Hopefully they will improve things...when they do we will def. visit!!! I hope this is not too negative...... GOOD LUCK!!

It seems as though the more I search online for the "perfect" hotel/resort the more frusterated I get!!! I can't stand looking anymore! I am ready to schhedule a scouting trip with my fiance so that we can see the hotels ourselves. Has anyone done this and do you have any suggestions.....PLEASE
