You're right, it annoys me that they weren't very clear about condiments. So, what we're going to do is grill them (probably on the stove) with onions. I also got a head of cabbage...I know it doesn't exactly go with mushroom/onion & potato...so I think I'm going to steam that and we'll have it when FI gets home from work (around 3).

I picked up a bunch of canned veggies...they are convienant and if don't eat them right now they won't go bad...Asparagus, Beats, Button Mushrooms.

I also have romain letuce and baby spinach...I'm thinking of making a salad later and squeezing a little lemon on it instead of dressing.

Balsamic Vinegar is my FAVORITE!!
4 lbs. thats great! Yes, we will probably lose a lot of water weight, BUT maybe the loss will be the push we need to help us keep up with eating better. I want to try to keep up with this until I leave on vacation, but while I'm gone, I'm going to try really hard to make healthy eating choices and not go overboard. I think it would be good for everyone once they finish with this to immediately start a healthy eating plan like weight watchers, so that you can keep the majority of it off and continue losing.

I feel so much better when I eat better, eating crap really does make me feel like crap.

So on Sunday we were supposed to have people over for a cookout, but it rained so we didn't, but on Saturday when I went shopping I picked up 2 packs of mini cupcakes for the kids. Well the damn things are sitting on my counter calling my name right now!!

I have to go eat some veggies and then I'm leaving the house for awhile to go do some errands, just so I can get away from the cupcakes!

We had people over Sat night...there are so many yummy things in the fridge. FI said last night..."we need to empty the fridge cause I'm ready to go in there and eat that potato salad with my hands right now" LOL (he didn't!).

I'm having a massive sweets craving right now too...I don't know what to do to make it go away!!!!!

We are picking up FI's mom from work tonight and she mentioned going for dinner.....I told FI we can go, we just have to be slick...order a large salad with dressing on the side. And if we have our mushrooms and potatoes before we leave, just the salad should be enough....I told him even if he gets grilled Chiken in the salad, it's still SIGNIFICANTLY better than he usually eats.

So, juice....I wasn't able to find "Unsweetened" but I was able to find "No Sugar Added" and when I looked at the ingredient list it didn't say Aspertame or Neutra Sweet or Surcose...so do you think it's ok to drink?
How about some water with crystal light? theres no sugar in that and no calories. I think I might do that.

I can't wait until tomorrow to have fruits and veg because I need some variety, its hard to have just veggies and veggie soup all day.

drink lots of water too, that will fill you up!

alright, I'm really getting off the computer now, be good I'll be back in a little while!

Don't think so, that's why I was adding the protein shakes. But, I'm a meat and potatoes type of person. If it doesn't have meat I don't think it's a meal! So it's probably a mental thing for me.

The soup is good. Last night when I made it and tasted it I didn't like it. But, today it's actally really good. I've eaten two bowls so far!

Oh...and my co-worker didn't start it today. She's says tomorrow. We'll see! But, I'm going to keep on truckin!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
