I feel so good reading all of your posts!

I LOVE you guys! I mean that! hug2.gif

I am back in wedding mode! YAY!

Vistaprint had free t-shirts - so I ordered Mother of the Bride (for my stepmom) and Mother of the Groom shirts for my FI's mom. All I paid was $4.44 each which was tax only! YAY!!smile123.gif

That sounds NUTS! I have to get in and get a good idea of where I am with a lot of stuff. I'll keep you all in mind for sure!

We love you too Celina! I am glad you are back in the swing of things! I ordered post cards from Vista print this weekend but I didnt see the t-shirts. Are you going to show us when you get them? Did you decide against doing the iron on things?

i got some t's from vista. i bought some with out logo on it and would just added "Maid of Honor" "Mother of Bride" on them, they were pretty nice and prices are so cheap. they always have sales or free stuff.

Celina - did you order the tshirt that had the suit and wedding dress on them?

Of course I'll show you! Actually, I am having a hard time uploading photos to photobucket. It may be the filters here at work or something. I'm not sure. I am still doing the iron-ons for the bridal party girls - just not for the mom's. I figured free shirts - no problem!

I typed in "Wedding" and there was this one design that had a filigree design in blue with little scroll-ey things - so I just added in big words "Mother of the Groom and Mother of the Bride" and the next line said "Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico" and the next line said "11-8-08"

I hope they come as fast as my brochures came! I ordered them last week and they came in on Monday.

Need some ettiquette help ladies....

I am doing DIY invites thanks to a woman who I just started working with in February. She has been a huge help to me and has volunteered a lot of her time doing this. Should I invite her to our wedding?

Secondly, another gal I work with planned my work engagement party and is now planning my bachelorette party (she loves to plan things and is very crafty). Should I invite her to our wedding?

Or are small gifts for both gals just fine? feedback.gif

I would say invite them and i would let them know how greatful you are for all of their help. I was actually having the same convo in my head yesterday about inviting my TA. She's been giving me help with the welcome packets and i know her really well anyway. the only reason why i was thinking not to invite her was that i didnt' want her to get me a gift. So i think i'll just let her know that i don't want any presents.

Not if they are one of the people who can cover your shift so you can have some vacation time to go get married! You can't take the whole office with you or there won't be anyone to cover! cheesy.gif

How is all of that going, by the way? Any news from your boss?

We each have one person standing up (I have my sister and my FI has his best friend from college). Then we have two flowergirls (my niece and his niece) and a ring bearer (his nephew).

Thank you all for your input!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
