liquor in consignment for weddings

Recommended Posts

If you are going to have a corkage fee and need wine for your party, Vinoteca is a vendor of liquor and wines , they have a store in PV , Cancun and some other places and they will sell in consignment and all the bottles you don't use , you cant return them without a charge ( except white wine!).

Here is the site its on spanish, but I think they will have somebody to speak english: Vinoteca - Su Asesor en Vinos

smile159.gifsmile159.gif Thank you Edna!!! OMG, I think you're going to be such an asset to my wedding!!!

I was planning on purchasing the liquor at Sam's Club, but I would rather have it taken care of before hand!

Here are a couple of others I found

VINOS BEAUSOLEIL - Una empresa dedicada a la importación y distribución de vinos de mesa. Representamos y distribuimos para toda la republica mexicana los vinos Luis Felipe Edwards vinos - Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco - México

Licoreria El Coyul

Yep, you can bring your own but you have to pay the corkage fee. I looked at it quickly on the 1 website that was working and even after the corkage fee it would save us about $75 / bottle (for fancy champagne).

There's a Playa Fiesta thread, I recommend that you join it! Playa Fiesta Weddings - Best Destination Wedding Forum ~ The Ultimate Destination Wedding Resource

Any luck finding information on where to get champagne/liquor, Magalie? I've heard that Costco has some, but not guaranteed to have the quantity/quality.

Let me know what you found out!

Haven't found anything - I think that we'll wing it when we get there! Note sure if it's a good idea, but it will have to do!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
