  1. Costco Cancun is located in the downtown area. We had a rental car so we just drove there. It took about 20 minutes or so. There is also a Sams Club and Walmart nearby too.
  2. We had our wedding reception at Mitachi's. All of our guests loved the food. Even guests that normally do not eat dessert ate them all up. We had filet & shrimp as one choice and a chicken dish. Most of our guests selected the filet. The presentation of the food was great too.
  3. Rather than shipping my 2 boxes of supplies, my husband (fiance at the time) and I ended up taking them with us as "luggage" on our flight (we flew United). We also had our regular suitcases and carry-on bags. We did get stopped at customs and they did open up both boxes but scanned through a few items only. I even had the puff mints from See's candies. They obvoiusly knew we were there for our wedding so they just let us go. We also had our hotel name written all over our boxes just in case they got lost in transit.
  4. I just got married this past June. I used Events of Euforia. They were so awesome to work with! I would highly recommend them. Euforia Cancun Wedding Planner - Outdoor Events and Lighting Design
  5. Yes, I bought all of my welcome bag supplies at Cancun Costco. It is exactly like the one in the states except everything is priced out in pesos. And when you pay at the counter, if you pay in cash (U.S. or pesos), you receive a slight discount. I would recommend it to everyone.
  6. I used Events of Euforia. They were amazing. They are willing to work with your budget too. I would highly recommend them. Their email is [email protected] and their website is Euforia Cancun Wedding Planner - Outdoor Events and Lighting Design.
  7. I used Fernado Fuentes. He was AMAZING! I know he is working on a website but his email address is [email protected]. I loved his work so much I wanted to take him back to the states.
  8. hi ladies! i just had my wedding at the hilton cancun almost 2 months ago. it was the most amazing experience. fernanda and her assistant, candy, did a phenomenal job! i didn't have to do anything except show up for the ceremony. they did all of the decorating (just the way i wanted it) and took care of all the details. we got so lucky too because the day before our wedding, it actually rained all day and night. it even rained the morning of our wedding. thankfully, it stopped and we were able to have our ceremony in the garden. then our reception was held at mitachi's. the food was to die for. we had filet & stuffed shrimp and the most elegant dessert. all of our guests enjoyed the entire wedding. if you need any vendor recommendations, i will be more than happy to share. people are still talking about our wedding now...
