Hi I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread where we can post great deals and/or sales we see!

We have one for DIY projects, but not for other items.

 

I found some great finds today while out shopping.

 

1. La Vien Rose's swimming section had a variety of beach bags on sale, one as cheap as $3.99 each. I bought myself and all my bridemaids one in pink. They had a variety of colors.

 

2. Fossil in our outlet mall (Cross Iron in Calgary) - not sure if the Fossil is an outlet but none the less they had men's leather shaving kits on sale from near $100 to $30! Fiance was thinking of doing that for his men, so I jumped on it and bought them all one, plus fiance! They had canvas ones for the same price.

Woo!  Went to Michael's 2 days in a row and got a bunch of stuff for 50 and 40% off! The cashier was nice the first day rang 2 of my items at 50%   I must have spent an hour in there today walking

Groupon is back for $70 worth of items for $27 at vista print. Says valid for Canada and US!

When at winners today, at check out counters (Winners is same as Marshall's) they had large tote bags/shopping bags that would make great beach bags. They were cream and stamped with various travel passport stamp images... In a variety of colors. Large and great for a pool/beach bag....

 

Best part?

 

$1.99!

Definitely Fossil is an outlet in cross iron. Went into the Fossil in market mall tonight and they don't even have the same stock!!

This isn't in a store but I got cotton totes from bagiva.com for a really good price and they are awesome quality! Got 25 for around 30 bucks with taxes and what not :)

 

The shaving kits are a really good deal!

I know.... I didn't buy them but are tempted! There were a ton of them... So I may go back and get them this week.

Was in Deerfoot Mall this weekend so popped in to look at luggage - nice bags! I would totally use those!

Canadian Tire has a 7 piece luggage set on for 65% off so it's $79.99. You get a 30, 25, and 21 upright. Then a 30 and 20 duffle, then a tote and shaving kit. You can't get a 30 upright for that price (ok maybe close at Walmart) so even if you don't use it all you are still ahead :)

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
