Have any of you tried it? I got my molds done about 3 weeks ago, and am just waiting for my trays to arrive. I have no idea what to expect. Of course the Dr. only says good things about it, but why would he say otherwise. I was just wondering if you have used it, how were your results? Was it painful? Thanks!

I actually get my trays next week. My colleague just went through it and she said it is uncomfortable when you change trays (which occurs every 10 days to 2 weeks - the frequency depends on how good you are about wearing them), but she reminded me you are moving your teeth, so no surprise it is uncomfortable. Also, when she initially got them it took some time to get used to them. But, overall the experience was not bad and she made it sound better than the old metal braces. And, her teeth look great! So, in the end it should be worth it.

I was thinking about getting Invisilign, but I was wondering if it was really expensive compared to normal braces. Do you ladies mind sharing how much they cost you?

Mine are $5300, and it includes free Zoom whitening when I'm done and the retainer. Make sure you ask about the retainer if you get it. Someone told me to make sure and ask if it is included in the price so I didn't have to pay more at the end. It seems a little pricey, but I didn't want to have to deal with traditional braces. The only plus is that the financing is 0% apr for 2 years. The down side...it's basically like having an extra car payment. I just hope the results are worth it!

Thanks for the info!! I will have to look into these a little more... Another alternative I was looking into lingual braces, but they too also cost more than regular braces... Beauty just isn't cheap

Mine cost $4800, but I lucked out. They are honoring the negotiate rate they have with my insurance company even though I am not covered, and they were running a promotion - $500 off the cost, free whitening at the end, the retainer and 0% financing for two years. So, it is costing me $3800.

Please don't tell me you go to the same dentist as me, or I'm going to be so upset! Are they located in Langhorne or Fairless Hills by any chance?

Hey girls, one of my best girlfriends had invisalign and she loved them. They straightened her teeth perfectly and she is all done and now she has beautiful teeth! Just something to make you feel better about the huge cost!

Yeah, I saw it. I didn't want to go ahead and invite myself. Sometimes I feel like an outsider on here, because everyone seems to know each other so well. I don't know if I could go anyway though. I have an 8 month old at home, and my FI is a full time student in addition to his job. The weekends are the only time he can catch up on his course load. I would have to have him watch the little guy so I could go, and he would lose out on that time to do school work. Thanks for the invite though!
