I am getting married at Riu palace peninsula, right beside caribe. I am thinking I might try out their salon earlier in the week for a trial run. If I don't like it, I guess I'll do my OWN hair and makeup. The guests who I've invited and I thought would help me......I don't think they are coming to the wedding. But I'm not going to bring in an outside vendor.

I am having my wedding JUNE 2015 at the Riu Palace Peninsula, which is right next to Riu Caribe. The DJ service the Riu's use is PSAV. And the photographer is Photopro. The DJ cost will depend on what all extras you add, extra lights, lighted dance floor, and length of time, usually 4 hours.

From what I can tell from the website, they only offer choice of 3 time slots...12, 2, or 4. We originally wanted Half Moon Bay in Jamaica, but it was crazy ridiculous expensive. So we got Riu Palace Peninsula on 6/18/15. Haven't gotten a contract yet, but were planning on the royal package. The website says it's for 20 guests, and $25 per guest over that amount.

Wine girl, I am also trying to get more details from someone who's been married at half moon. Let me know if you'd be willing to talk with me, at least via email.

I'm wanting to hear from those brides who got married there recently too. Package vs ala carte, total price, etc. I'm sure it would be awesome. But the final cost would be the deciding factor.
