Mine is May 10, 2013 in Oahu, Hawaii. But I think my fiance' is about to call the whole thing off if I don't decide on a beach! I have changed my mind on beaches so many times it's not even funny so now I think I've resigned myself to having it right in front of the hotel we are staying at which is the Hilton Hawaiian Village. My concern is that it's SOOO busy but I've had concerns about the other beaches being too windy, too pebbly, too far from the hotels, etc. I also feel weird not booking a venue and just showing up to a beach site where other ceremonies may be taking place. I guess this is what we call, "control issues!"

Hello! I am having my wedding in Waikiki in May 2013 and just wanted to know if anyone has done a "toes in the sand" ceremony where you and your guests had a successful ceremony on one of the world's busiest beaches. I started off wanting to have our ceremony on a quieter beach but we're doing this on a Friday night and I don't want my guests to miss the fireworks. (Waikiki has fireworks every Friday.) Also, I am going to have about 50 guests and just want it to be an easy day for everyone to get to the ceremony site, (somewhere on the beach), watch the fireworks, then go to dinner at Roys Waikiki. Has anyone done a similar itinerary to this? Thanks for any input! Carla
