  1. LadyBugJ...I am getting married on April 3, just a few weeks before you! I have many of the same questions as you, but also have a few tips. I posted pictures earlier in the forum with pics Julia sent me. The round tables are extra, so from what I can gauge you only have the rectangle tables. We're making table runners for them because it seems like we just get the white table clothes etc. I am bringing down a few other things. I did have Julia book chair covers and ties. She sent me a menu and I can't find it! I also hired a seperate photographer. Let me know if you have other questions and I can keep in touch when I get back. We can muddle through this together! Also, my travel agent has a spanish girl on staff so she's been phoning down for me.
  2. JR14 - those books are KILLER! We had looked at including little travel books in the welcome package but they were just too much...now we can! Also, I don't know if you're planning a group excusion or anything. I wasn't going to until we found a group called panama roadrunners. They'll escort your whole group to all sorts of unique locations in private vehicles. No giant coaches and a bunch of extra tourists! The pricing looks really reasonable. My sis e-mailed and the wrote back right away, and sounded really professional. They also have killer feedback on trip advisor. Normally I try not to trust everything on Trip Advisor, but they have such good reveiws it's hard to avoid. There's normally some negative tucked in there! www.panamaroadrunner.com JEN - I second JR14's sentiments. GOOD LUCK! I am sure you're having an absolute dream of a time. Can't wait to hear all about it!
  3. Key chains are a great idea! We're doing luggage tags and a bunch of beachy things. I am wishing I had thought of that! JR14 - you and your mom should had definitely done up the club
  4. I find you really have to dig with Julia. Just ask question after question. My travel agent has a gal that can speak spanish so I get them to phone her. I've attached some pictures that she sent me of Club Med. I found out after some digging that if you want circle tables you have to rent them. Also, I was only shown the menu too. Good luck to those with big days around the corner!
  5. Hi all brides-to-be! I too am at the Decameron. Like Jen, we just booked the soundsystem. We've also paid the $7/person charge to have Club Med all night. We did opt to pay the $250 delivery charge for chairs and chair covers, otherwise we're bringing down basic decorations. The WP did send me pictures of a couple of different weddings at Club Med. It looks great! If I find them, I will post. Cheers
  6. Hi there! I am also an RD bride and I'm trying to iron out all the details with Julia. We opted for Club Med, but honestly we weren't even given an option for Sushi Samba. Now I'm scared! I would love to see pictures, but can't seem to track anything down. I did opt for the chair covers as well. Is anyone doing a DJ or band. Details! Details! Details!
  7. Hi Jen! Congrats on the upcoming wedding. My name is Joanna. I'm also getting married at the Royal Decameron. We walk down the aisle on April 3. I'd love to see pics of the wedding and chat about your experiance so far. There seems to be lots of folks on here that have been married in Panama, but I'm still having a hard time find info . Happy planning! Joanna
  8. Hi there! I'm getting married at the Royal Decameron in April 2011. Did you have any luck finding info? I'm doing okay with the planning but starting to panic about all the stuff we need to do to make it legal!
